Yeah, I just want you to know, just putting it out there, that list of books suck. They're just blatant trash. Read classics, read authors like,
John Steinbeck, George Orwell, Scott Fitzgerald, Joseph Heller, James Joyce, Charles Dickens, Ernest Hemingway, Ayn Rand...etc.,

Like you, my younger sister likes the Angus, Thongs... series (of which there are now 8); another one she likes is the "Mates, Dates and...." series, so presumably you would like that too, as well as the Series of Unfortunate Events. In terms of books like Go Ask Alice, which was one of MY favourites as a teen, I found a few: Christiane F., about a teenage girl who turns to prostitution to support her heroin habit, It Happened To Nancy, about a girl who is raped by her boyfriend and gets HIV, and Annie's Baby, about a young teen who gets pregnant. Girl, Interrupted, which the movie is based on, is also a great book, also told in diary format, and based on a true story. Happy Reading!

I would have recommended classics--but judging by your list (none of which I've ever heard of) you would have no interest in the writings of Mark Twain or F. Scott Fitzgerald.
