There's a lady that comes in my bookstore every Friday for the new Harlequins, but she only likes the clean ones. She reads the Love Inspired series (which we shelve in the Christian Fiction section) and the American Romance series. While they are "adult" books, they are apparently not smutty.

I would recommend Nicholas Sparks. A Walk to Remember, for sure....that one is great. There may be some love scenes, but nothing trashy. I would let my teenage daughter read them! Also, I remember liking Sweet Valley High when I was younger. You may look into those, as well! Also, Emily Grayson. I think she is really good....along the lines of Nicholas Sparks. Again maybe some love scenes, but nothing explicit.

Ok, try this. I read the story, "Memoirs of a Geisha" years before it came out in theatres. It is very romantic and compelling in the book than on film. The movie just didn't capture the want and need and love. It is clean reading for a teenager.

You might try Nicholas Sparks...
-A Walk to Remember
-The Wedding
-The Notebook

I think even though there are some love scenes involved in them (at least one of them for sure) they are clean and decent enough for a teenage and they are heart-wrenching love stories.

My prominent is an exceptionally previous classic...have study and re-study it many cases. attempt it.. Jane Eyre with the help of Charlotte Bronte. additionally, Now Voyager which become made right into a movie starring Bette Davis. The previous ones appeared to have extra type and much less trash.
