Hi... I read this book as a kid and was wondering if you remember the name of it. All I remember is that there was a brother and a sister and they would go over to someone's house (grandma, aunt or neighbour- forget which it was) and the grandma would give them one brownie a day. She said they could only have one in a day, but they eventually snuck brownies to see what would happen if they had 2 in a day 3 or 4.
It went something like this:
If you had one brownie... you would like animals
if you had two....You could hear animals
If you had three... you could talk to animals
If you had four... you could turn into an animal for a short time

I read the book and loved it, but the thoughts I have about it are very disjointed and in pieces. I want to read it again, because with books like this I like to really absorb it. Any ideas on how to approach my second reading? Also, any unique ideas about how I can make parallels with Yates' "Revolutionary Road"? I just need help trying to collect my thoughts.

I have written two childrens books and need advice as to a good publisher. I know my opinion may be bias but i've put a lot of hard work into them with pleasing results. I have started my third book and plan on penning a complete series but trying to get a breakthrough with publishers is endless as most of them aren't excepting any new clients. Any advice would be greatly appreciated or if anyone knows anyone in the know

A woman with a very fair skin, you really don't know how old is she. Long fair hair, very bright blue eyes and pink lips... She always wears white long coat. Distant look in her eyes... Deep voice... IS that sound like a ... good character in a book ?
