Very Strange. Read the Lottery by her it is better!!!

Yeah. I first read it in my teens or even younger, so much of it was lost on me. But I've reread it a few times since then.

I'm not sure whether the story is just a story, or whether it's rife with symbolism. If it is, it's lost on me.

I do remember beiing shocked about who actually done it. And I felt sorry for both of them, and the uncle too.

I might just have to see if there's a cliff notes or something on this story......

I did find something out about it. Apparently the two girls were loosely based on her children; Uncle Julian on an ex-husband, and the agoraphobia on her own.
