Does anyone know a GOOD short story on betrayal and/or trust. I need to find a deeper meaning in it. This is for an English assessment. It can be anything related to betrayal and trust. But please let it be GOOD. Needed URGENTLY. Thank you.

"Fighting Dragons"

For fighting the fate
I need to be brave
Gathering courage for
Hunting all
The dragons of our time.
In our dreams
No dragons must appear,
Go chase them out of our world.

Dreaming of dragons
Remembering good times
As a legend that still shines
Gather all your force to fight
Or get the help of a brave knight.
No one must ever destroy our dreams
So keep on fighting the dragons.

In your opinion, which would be better to write. A childrens book, a young adult book, or a novelty? Do you know of any websites where I can go to look up book writing tips? Also what would be a good lenght for a childrens book if I were to write a childrens book? a young adult book? a novelty?

I love reading, but I don't know what books to buy. I like fantasy based stories, royalty, adventure. I hate horror stories and anything to do with killing others or self. I also want to increase my vocabulary too.

Suggestions?

i was reading about edgar allan poe and went on to a site(mysterynet.com) and it said this =

"The public's reaction to the poem brought Poe to a new level of recognition and "could be compared to that of some uproariously successful hit song today."
