I'm in to stories like Da Vinci Code, and the movie National Treasure. i love those types of stories ... any suggestions on books that are similar to that? with a "treasure hunt" for history in modern times? any kind of history.

Okay So I want to write a book. I have a pretty good idea on what I want the book to be about. So here are my questions. Does anyone have any book writing tips? If so what are they? In your opinion, which would be better to write. A childrens book, a young adult book, or a novelty? Do you know of any websites where I can go to look up book writing tips? Also what would be a good lenght for a childrens book if I were to write a childrens book? a young adult book? a novelty?

did you read this book by Virginia Andrews? it says somewhere it is based on real events... what parts do you think are true...i mean, is the house and the family real or made up?
