Yet here, Laertes? Aboard, aboard, for shame! The wind sits in the shoulder of your sail, And you are stay'd for. There, my blessing with thee! And these few precepts in thy memory Look thou character. Give thy thoughts no tongue, Nor any jnproportion'd thought his act. Be thou familiar, but by no means vulgar: Those friends thou hast, and their adoption tried, Grapple them unto thy soul with hoops of steel, But do not dull thy palm with entertainment Of each new-hatch'd, unfledg'd courage. Beware Of entrance to a quarrel, but being in, Bear't that th' opposed may beware of thee. give every man thy ear, but few thy voice, Take each man's censure, but reserve thy judgment. Costly thy habit as thy purse can buy, But not express'd in fancy, rich, not gaudy, For the apparel oft proclaims the man, And they in France of the best rank and station Are of a most select and generous chief in that. If this was, in fact, true, is this a new incentive to rebel in early age? On an unrelated topic, what is your personal definition of modern subjectivism? Please give an example to go with your views concerning modern subjectivism?

I am the grandaughter of a man who served on this carrier. I have always wanted to know if the stories I heard where true, and where my grandfather and his brother went during the war. I have hit a wall as information goes and everything I have is rather sketchy. Anything at all, be it stories you have heard, websites with information, or if you know anyone who has served I would be extremely thankful. If you could tell me if it is possible to get sevice records, or any such documentation that would also be helpful. All of this is cloudy and I would like to know so I can pass it on. I am unsure if I am spelling the craft name correctly!

So yeah we all know C.S. Lewis would meet with J.R.R Tolkien, Charles Williams and other awesome writers at The Eagle & Child pub in Oxford.

As I understand it, they had a favorite drink of choice - gin with something. Lime? Tonic? Bitters? Anyone know?

Also, did they do primarily pipes or cigars? Any specifics?

Haha, I know I will never reproduce their writing efforts just by duplicating their drink & smoke, but I figure it couldn't hurt! I'm especially interested in the drink thing. Thanks!

What do you think for the costume of Bet in Oliver....skin colored hose, white hose, or black hose? Opaque or sheer? Fishnet? It's community theater - costume person says "wear whatever" - I want to wear what looks right! Dress is gray (like the gray on computer toolbars) with tiny burgundy and pink flowers and shoes are black lace up jazz boots. There may or may not be a dark purple shawl added to the costume. What type of hose did the london underground type use back then?
