Nicholas Cage. I was fooled by him in a few films then after being bombarded with bad performance after bad performance I suddenly realized that he's really not good.

Lots of mega-famous actors aren't really that good. I was going to mention Nick Cage myself but since everyone else did I won't mention that mediocre actors also sometimes win academy awards. It's less about acting ability as it is about likeability. Most of the women I know love Leonardo DiCaprio. I always ask "If he looked like Fred Mertz what would you think of his acting?" Good question man!

I agree with the Nicholas Cage. I also cringe whenever I watch Keanu Reeves or Heather Graham.
I think Jim Carrey is really good in his later movies, especially Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Just thought I'd stick up for him.

I can't think of any like that but there are plenty who always play the same type of character over and over and eventually, you get really sick of seeing that.. To name them though, my brain isn't working tonight and I can't think of names!
