I've read Time and I am half way through Space, very enjoyable. I've bought the 3rd book Origin. Inside the front cover of the 1st book it says that Manifold is a series of 4 books, the last book being Phase Space. Is this correct? In the other books it doesn't mention Phase Space, can you enlighten me please?

I would like to print a small amount of T-shirts (less than 20) to re-sell at a crafts fair later this year. I am looking for a place where I can buy them cheeply enough to mark up ($7 at the very most). I would only be using one color of ink. Does anyone know a good place that would take orders that small. Please let me know what you thought of the quality. Thanks!

I saw this on the History Channel (or one of those) a long time ago. I can't remember the details and I can't find info on it anywhere. A soldier in (perhaps) the Civil War was impaled through the head with a spike, spear, bayonet or perhaps a pice of debris or something (It was rather large, I remember and pierced his brain). Amazingly he survived the incident, but his personality was changed so dramatically that he became estranged from his friends and family.

Has anyone heard this story? What was his name, when did it happen, are there any similar cases like this?

This information is rather important to a philosophical/theological debate I've been having with someone, and I don't want to submit information if I'm unsure of it.

Thanks!

My friend has a metal band, and I'm making the ablum artwork for his CD. The CD name is "The Rise of Revelation". So far, I have his band name, the CD name, and two blade things in the background with a green background color.

What are some ideas for the background? I can't think of anything. Thanks!

I hear people say things every day, and I wonder how they can say them with a straight face. They say things pertaining to the existence of a God, or to the existence of many other intangible and clearly made up ideas, like ettiquete and morals. I see people living in such a way as to limit themselves according to the rules of the majority. The entire world seems like this, an entire world that abides by quantity versus quality. People standing in lines, people making sure they aren't ever naked infrot of others in public, people saying it's wrong for people to do this or that, and not supporting their ideas with any logical foundation. So I ask again, am I the only one who thinks this world is absurd?

I love horror, mystery, real edge of your seat stuff, I want a thick dark book that keeps me turning pages, I want to feel what the people in the book feel, see what they see, I don't want ski fi or cavemen, I want Vampires, Witches, etc. without all the Merlin back drops, and magic wands.
I've read all the Ann Rice books, I did like the Witching Hour, but am looking for something a little darker, bigger, better in the same area.
Has such a book been written? or will I have to do it myself?

I wrote this poem it came to me:
Dear Reader,

I am writing this letter to say goodbye.
I can’t stand this wretched life anymore I’m living a lie.
Pretending to be happy, pretending to live.
I have nothing to offer, nothing to give.
So I figure why not end my life.
It’s not like my death will cause you any struggle or strife.
In case your wondering if I ever cared for you.
I did more than you’ll ever know, but you didn’t thank me for the things I do.
So I stopped trying to impress.
In this letter I tried to express.
That I was more than a ghost, I was real.
Even though you never noticed me it’s no big deal.
They say a person is never known till their dead.
I guess I’ll find out when you find my lifeless body in bed.
Goodbye for I will miss this dreaded strife.
But it’s time for me to move on to my after life!

Forever yours,
Shadow
(this is not a real letter just a poem)

I'm writing a children's book and wondered if anyone else has sent anything off - and if so, what was the reaction you got - good or bad - did you have to completely re-write whole chapters or did the publisher only want word perfect material?

I have to do a really boring history project. I have to create a character and have this character write a letter to a friend about the draft riots(1863) of the civil war in new york city. I want my character to be a free, middle class, black man who resides in midtown and is a manager of an all-black company. Possible?
