I have a friend who writes "poems" all the time, but instead of having rhymes and alliterations and other things that are found in normal poetry, her poems are more like sentences, or random fragments jotted down quickly. I don't think that that is poetry. So what I want to know is, is that considered poetry?

It is "Much Ado" - because it is so light-handed and has the greatest number of my favourite one-liners: ex:

What, art Thou still living?
Put me down an idiot.
Oh, no sir, you are much too dear for every day!
Sss ...Ssspiritus BBbbenedictus?
(etc!!)

Although I do love the beautiful line from "The Merchant of Venice" when the two lovers are on a mossy bank and he
says to her, "Look, Jessica, how the floor of heaven is patined with stars of bright gold!"

And you? Please say ... and anything else you would like to say on the topic.

Ta!

Odd question indeed! At 75, when I look back I see some plus factors in life like good family bond, rare happy situations and Lord's gifts of a good home - loving family relations. Tied to this I experienced pain, rejection, dejection, exploitation, social stigmas resultant to rebellious thoughts and all possible religious extortions besides unreasonable faith commands. I believe that my outlook on life is negative, but realistic. I didn't choose this life; but was delivered into it to suffer the agony, mystery and pain associated with it. My ultimate relief is that I am much better off, when I compare myself to His first born - the Universe where most planets are molested and the rest is on target. When even Moon is not safe from mankind why should I complain about my fate? I wish I might be spared from a second torture through rebirth. Do you like to be born again and start afresh another life without knowing your present life? lileeann

Did he ever attend college?
Everywhere I look, it seems like he got out of high school, went into the Air Force, and then got a job as an editor. Isn't that a very rare occurence, for a person who is not college-educated?

Book, 1st version of movie, 2nd version of movie( "Kiddie version" as I call it), or TV show?
Personally, I am a loyal fan of the book, and love the 1st version of the movie, but I really dislike the version they dumbed down for children, and the TV series based off that version.
What's your preference?
