Well neither one is good. Betraying your instincts is bad for yourself, because you will end up being hurt. Betraying your morals means that you & someone else may be hurt by your actions. I suppose then that betraying morals is worse because it harms more people.

I think the two things are so intrinsically linked there would be no way to separate the two. Betraying my morals would be betraying my instincts and vice versa.

I completely agree with Serena M. I feel that both are very much connected... and to betray one, is betraying the other as well.

Since morality is relative, I would say instincts. We have them for a purpose. (mostly to keep us alive).

They are totally different subject. One is for survival and the other is for mental well being. Of course one would first choose to live so that one can enjoy the morals that one have created for oneself.
