Oh well...

What are some dances of the Restoration Time Period in England 1660 to 1700 but really, any dance in the 1600's would be awesome.

I'm 21, with a flat, gruff, deep voice that's about as attractive as a dead squid's eyesocket.

I'd love to have singing lessons, just so I can sing fairly, not amazingly, but would be very embarrassed to approach a tutor knowing how bad I sound. Is it worth it?

What sort of things should I look out for, and how much (roughly) am I looking to pay (UK)?

Thanks!

I was studying about the Spanish Armada and the fighting the Dutch and English. I know they were trying to destroy each others ships. What I dont get is , if these ships were made of wood, would they not be easy to set afire?
Why didnt England just send some spies to where the ships were based and set them on fire?
or vice versa?
in battle were they not easy to set ablaze?

I've written to a company that does geneology research and was advised that, to do the chart would cost thousands of $'s. I have no objection to doing the research myself but don't know how to go about it. Can I search online for vital statistics records or do I have to visit every location that maintains the records? Any advice on how best to proceed would be most appreciated!

I am currently reading 'Marley and Me' by John Grogan and I was wondering if anyone can suggest other books like this where people have written about their everyday life and adventures with their pets.

Why do so many people like this book. I have attempted it 3 times and get so bored with those rich people. What am I missing that makes it so good. I would like to understand because I understand that a lot of books have been written to further the story.
