The finish line is just a thought in your mind till you get there.

Each moment, or now of the journey is your reality.

If your only focused on the finish line you are missing reality completely for a silly idea in your mind.

If your goal is the finish line as is the case during a race then the finish line is of course what it is about. But when it comes to life the finish line is death so of course the journey is the important and only part.

Life doesn't have to be so rigidly planned out; all those buzz words like,"goals, mission statements," etc.

If you're eyes are constantly "fixed on the carrot," you're probably going to miss a lot of what's going on around you.

It's about taking time to stop and smell the pizza and the roses.

Take, as Robert Frost suggested, "the road less traveled" and enjoy the scenery.
