I am currently reading 'Marley and Me' by John Grogan and I was wondering if anyone can suggest other books like this where people have written about their everyday life and adventures with their pets.

Have you ever seen the movie My Dog Skip? Watch it and then by the same guy, Willie Morris, read My Cat Spit McGee. Also try out James Herriott. And I and Claudius by Vries. Oh, I want a dog so bad but my cat says no every time I ask. Darn her.

This is not really along the "Marley and Me" lines but it's called "Animals in Translation". It's about a woman with Autism and her experiences in communicating with animals.
