I am tired of reading all the same books that all have the same story line and plot. I need some recomendations on good fiction. Somthing thrilling with suspense, except it must not be the usual crime, Stephen King or Dean Koontz. And nothing for woman. Books that will make my head spin.

The Dangerous Book for Boys by Gonn Iggulden is getting a lot of attention recently. Has anyone got this book? Can you tell me whether it deserves all the acclaim? I was looking at buying it for my boyfriend, but I don't want to waste my money :)

I am trying to write a novel and I am at the stage of plotting. I need to know how to include a 'timeline' so that I don't get the time of action all over the place. Does anyone know if there are any good websites that can hlp with this? I've checked and have not seen anything so far.
