I am tired of reading all the same books that all have the same story line and plot. I need some recomendations on good fiction. Somthing thrilling with suspense, except it must not be the usual crime, Stephen King or Dean Koontz. And nothing for woman. Books that will make my head spin.

Try Mission earth by L. Ron Hubbard
it is a 10 book serries. Trust me the plot has never been try before
Also Robort Jordan's the wheel of time is good for sci fi
Micheal Criton(forgive the spelling) does some good books
And Mark twain's "the yankee in king aurthers court"

Try some of the classics, and find out why they ARE classics.

Some of the shorter ones include Orwell's 'Animal Farm', Salinger's 'The Catcher in the Rye', and Golding's 'Lord of the Flies'. Each is in the 200-page range.

For something more modern, David Baldacci writes a lot of really good books, with a lot of suspense. My favorite of his is 'Total Control'.

Have you tried biographies? I know it sounds boring, but there are some sports figures and stuff out there who have written really good books. I really like Chris Heimerdinger, but his stuff is pretty religious, so I don't know if you're into that. Ask a librarian. They can usually help and will generally have enough suggestions that you're bound to find something.
