I need some suggestions on what to name a hair salon that will attract male & female clients. Please don't list names of other salons or anything inapropriate. The names need to start with letters from the beginning of the alphabet - A, B, or C, etc.

I remember enjoying reading a few books with a certain character in them from childhood. I don't know how young exactly but probably fairly young. It was a woman & she was always causing trouble because she took everything too literally. An example would be, she tried to follow a recipe & when it says to add eggs, she just plopped the eggs right in there instead of cracking them open. In the end she'd always make everything better or okay. If anyone knows what I'm talking about & could help me find out an author name or just a title of the one of the books, it'd be greatly appreciated.

What happens after we die?

Why are we here and what is the meaning of all this?

How can we escape from life?

"A candle that burns twice as bright, lasts half as long"...
>>>>
Assume : that burning twice as bright, in the context of your life, means that you would do twice as much with your life (reaching higher peaks than you would normally)... but that lasting half as long, would mean that your lifespan would be half of what it normally would from now on....
So, if you would have 40 years left in your life, this would reduce your life to 20 years left....

What would you choose???.. and why???
>>>>>>>>>>
Thanks, for answering in advance!D

Have a Beautiful weekend!;)
Take care!

I have all my pictures I take on my Myspace right now, but so far, all I've been able to do is this..

www.myspace.com/blinxpix

And I don't think that will really work, is there some way I can disable the right click button without using Java maybe? Or is there some other way to insure my pictures are not stolen? Please help.

In Godel Escher Bach, Douglas Hofstadter uses as an example the statement that there are 17 languages in India. He says, it could be false because it depends on your definition of what a language is.

How many other ways could the statement be false?

I have. I had just finished doing dishes. Was in my room in the back of the house, laying on the bed with with then boyfriend, talking. And we both heard the water running and dishes clanging
and the refrigerator opening and closing. No one was in the house.
One time, we were again, talking in our room, the bedroom door was shut, but not locked. Then the door started moving back and
forth, harder and harder, the door handle was moving. It was as if
someone was trying to break down the door. All they had to do was turn the handle and walk in! We were freaking out...He kept
yelling loud", STOP IT !!"....and about the fifth time, it just stopped.
He went to see if anyone was in the house, no one. Other things
happened, but it's a long story. Anybody else ????......

I am painting a still life with a wine bottle (half full of red wine). How do you reflect the colors behind the clear glass in the wine glass? Which technique do you use? i.e....using the colors and then soaking it with water to dull it down, or using the background colors and then dabbing white or gray on top??

Thanks!!!!

Is it love?
I ask myself
over and over again
Can it really be love?
The one simple thing
that everyone wants...
can i truly have that?
Or am I in the middle of a game
that life has set out for me
to test me
through these heartless trials
to warn me of the dangers
of this wonderful feeling called love
But in a moment
can it really all be gone?
Can i have lost this feeling called love?
The warmth of your smile
and the taste of your lips...
can it really be gone?
Is life that cruel to do this to us,
to take away this lovely feeling,
Then i begin to think,
was it really that glorious?
Or was I making it
what I wanted it to be...
romantic...
whistful...
and strong?
I begin to think how much i miss you...
I bleed and cry for you...
The sound of your voice
is longing to my ears
The taste of your kiss
is needed on my lips...
I love you...
need you...
miss you...
Its all so clear now.
It was Love,
It is Love.
Then in the darkness,
you emerge from the fog.
Tears on your cheeks...
And you tell me,
It was not meant to be.
