I have. I had just finished doing dishes. Was in my room in the back of the house, laying on the bed with with then boyfriend, talking. And we both heard the water running and dishes clanging
and the refrigerator opening and closing. No one was in the house.
One time, we were again, talking in our room, the bedroom door was shut, but not locked. Then the door started moving back and
forth, harder and harder, the door handle was moving. It was as if
someone was trying to break down the door. All they had to do was turn the handle and walk in! We were freaking out...He kept
yelling loud", STOP IT !!"....and about the fifth time, it just stopped.
He went to see if anyone was in the house, no one. Other things
happened, but it's a long story. Anybody else ????......

That happened about 17 years ago, and I
will never forget it. Cause I feel that there IS more to life......than we really know. Later
on, I heard a baby was killed brutally in the
very room we were in, we had totally re-done it. I don't see how a baby could do that
sort of stuff. It scared the heck out of me.!!
I just Thank God I never saw anything....!
Oh,....Your stories are VERY intriguing..WOW

yes when i was married where me and my ex lived the doors would open and close by themselves. at night while we would sleep the lights would turn on. Once I set the phone down and saw it slide away, it moved on its own, and it wasnt at an angle or anything, it was like someone was sliding it across the table. The water faucet turned on once in the kitchen at full force. Thats pretty much it for me. But my ex still lives there and scarier stuff happens to him now that he lives there alone. He actually sees things. Or when hes asleep he feels like is someone climbs into bed next to him, the things he sees, are horrible, if i saw them i would freak out. They pull his covers off him at night too, and turn on his stereo at night in his room. They even mess with his alarm clock . . .

Many years ago....a psychic told me that spirits haunt places because they are basically confused about their present condition...i.e. post-mortem, and are trying to finish up some task or tasks that they have left incomplete before moving on.
I do not know if this is true, but I had an expirence once with a feeling in an old house in Vermont which used to be a Hospital back when most of the town's people were granite workers.
Many of the men in Barre Vermont died of brown lung a form of silicosis due to inhalting dust from grinding and polishing granite. It is a particularly nasty way to go, and many of the beautiful monuments in the local graveyard were made by craftsmen who knew their day was coming and used their art to give themselves a final tribute.
The owners of the house, a couple who were teaching elementary school in the area, were renovating an unused wing of the grey, wooden, victorian structure. It was on the third floor of the building, at a point where the stairs had been sealed off to the next 2 floors above, that their little dog had taken to howling often and on odd occasions. They never could explain this behavor, and asked me to come up there to look around with them.
We were looking up at a wooden hatchway in the ceiling, the only way to the upper floors, when I had the sensation of being enveloped in honey. There was a sweet clostrophobia surounding my mind all of a sudden, and I got the perception that someone was leaning over the hatch from the floor above looking at us just inches away from our heads. I felt it was lonely and wanted us to stay forever and keep it company.
The next thing I can literally remember is being outside of the building with my friends huffing along behind me. They both said I just suddenly ran out of the house...3 floors... through the front door and down the porch. They were hardly able to keep up.
I do not know if the feelings were due to a ghost, but the vividness of the expirence is still very much alive in my memory.

When i was around 12, one weekend in summer, we had all fallen asleep in front of the tv on a friday night, pizza night. Mom, Dad, younger brother, sister and myself the oldest at home. Oh, and the dog too. We had a "hurricane" lamp, white milk glass shade and base with a clear glass chimney, it "jumped" off the tv and flew in a perfectly horizontal plane across the room and crashed against the front door which was 10 feet away. I say perfect straigh horizontal plane cause where it hit the door was the same level height as the top of the tv. The metal supports on the lamp were very bent and the base and shade smashed to pieces but the clear glass chimney was intact and the bulb was cleanly snapped off the screw in base. No damage to the plug or anything else. We had several of creepy incidents like this.

once my mom couldnt find her checkbook, we tore up the entire living room and then i went to the kitchen, when i came back it was lying in the middle of the living room floor... the kitchen door in my grandparents house used to open and close very fast all the time, we got so spooked by it that we went over the door with cement so it couldnt open, but at night you could still hear the hinges creaking... the dishwasher would start in its own... the tiolet would flush on its own... The sink would turn on... everynight at exactly 3:00am i would smell smoke coming from the kitchen, but whenever i would get up and look there was nothing wrong... at night i would see shadows moving around the house... i would hear the kitchen cabinet open and dishes falling and breaking, when i went to look, the cupboard was closed and there was nothing on the floor...at night i would hear a baby cry...i sometimes hear voices, a middle aged woman speaking a language i've never heard before...while sleeping i felt someone breathing on the back of my neck, when i woke up i felt like there was something next to me...i would often see the outline of a body on my bed after i had just fixed it.

no, but i have this ... its hard to explain, but something/ someone keeps talking and placing stuff in my room all the time... I mean im starting to get use to it, but the part that freaks me out the most is when it freezes me, so i can't move, like 2 days ago, when i was finally falling asleep, i got that same feeling again, and i couldn't move, well, i finaly could move my arm.. yay, it felt sooo heavy, but then while i was doing that, i heard this guy's voice say, "julia.. shes here..." (julia is my name by the way) then like a sec later, i herd this older guys' voice.. sounded like my grandpa's.. if he was alive, anway, it said, " are you realy happy being behind the bars?" (??)
then everything went quiet, and i could open my eyes and move again. i think it had something to do with the knock, and this chinese blacelet i found , but im not sure, and it kinda takes forever to explain how it all started.. anyway. told like 3 people about it, but theyr like ," oh, julia, its just another one of your night mares," but my ususaly night mares are soo diferent, you know? its more blury, and i don't really understand what going on, and its more like a movie playing when its on mute. and usually, i don't feel anything, but instead, when i have one of these "dreams" i can actually hear someone, (sometimes) and i always feel like if someone is pushing me down, so that i won't open my eyes, or move. its freaky. and it usually happenes like twice a week. and eveytime it ahppenes, i hear and see something different. usually, i imagine seeing my room, empty, or its all dark and black and i can't see anything. the first time it happened, i heard someone's foot step and then it was closing/ opening my window. then i saw the white face staring down at me, and laughing.again, its always different, and its not unusal if it happens now, and after all, it might just as well be my imagination.

Yes, we lived in a new two story house that was built over the foundation area of an old farm house. We constantly heard footsteps at night, in the upstairs area. When we would go up to investigate, it would stop. Then one night, we had company, and the little girl went up the stairs to investigate and she was literally thrown from the steps. She actually flew out and over about four steps, and landed in the entry area. Knocked her out cold when she hit the floor. We reprimanded her for jumping off the steps, but ahe absolutely insisted she was pushed. We sold and moved out immediately.
