I remember reading a while back a series about a group of kids who find each other in one way or another. I think they were genetically enhanced or altered either from birth or before. They have certain powers I think. all i can really remember was that their was a bad doctor after them and two of the main characters a boy and a girl where locked in a closet and started kissing. I know im being really vague but its all i can remember.

Ten points: What do these advertising slogans have in common?

Coke Is It.

Mayby She's Born With It, Maybe It's Maybeline.

Have It Your Way.

10 points if you identify what the "It" is in each slogan and tell me, if each slogan uses 'It" in different ways but "it" is undefined and always desirable- is "it" really a noun instead of a pronoun.

Are there any freelance writing sites that are for free that give leads, etc.?

I have done a cursory search of the internet and keep getting frustrated by sites that offer leads, advice, etc. to freelance writers, but they all want money up front. I have found that most sites that require money up front are not worth the effort. Does anyone know about good places to go to find more info?

Does anyone know about a collection of poems titles "Runaways"?

I am looking for this book that is a collection of poems. I remember the title as Runaways but that may not be the full title. One of the poems has the repeating line "please don't flunk me" and goes on about this kid forgetting to write an essay or something for class. A complete title and author would be great. THX

Where can I learn...?

I'm just starting out doing vexels or vector animation. But looking at those, I don't think it's the same principle. They look like original images.
