Just about the way you have chosen to phrase your question - life is made to be shared - I think life is already a shared existence, for this is how it has been created, our we have been created. And as you mention Adam and Eve my point becomes even more relevant. The reason is that we cannot choose to live separately as men and women. We share our lives because this is how it is, a natural capacity and need for sharing life as man-and-woman.

The question is not whether we should share our lives or not, the question instead is how to share?

it's a big world and would be even bigger if there was only one person on it........how would you feel if it was you alone, one person, the only person in the entire world. think about how that would pan out in reality. way to go. it sure helps to have company sometimes. i see us all as ants working away, each a part of the complex puzzle.

i doubt very much that god made eve from one of adam's ribs in the way it is implied, i resent any implication that women are inferior to men or should be looked after or a possession. i resent that no matter where it comes from.

Life is to be shared.
If today's Eves and Adams are willing to accept is, the life can be a heavenly experience. We can create heavens here. Unfortunately our Evens want to be Adams and Adams want to be Gods.

Humans are not usually solitary creatures. We enjoy life more when we have companions to share the pleasures and pains of existence.
There's an old saying that says our happiness is doubled and our sorrows are cut in half when shared with people we care about.

Do we have any idea what Life is and what and how we are sharing it? In common relationships we are sharing nothing but our ku-kus...We are not sharing Life, but our shortages, sometimes diseases, hate, dislikeness, judgments, ignorance...list would be continued indefinetely. Love is only moment when we are sharing our goods...Moment...after moment passed then we are persistenly call it what is left love, then conscious sharing begun...we give each other our crap in most cases. In extreme cases we even giving away precious Life for the sake of stupid ideas. No ideas represents Life, Life represents itself and does not care of our ideas. The Idea is to share Life...but we do not know what Life is....and how to share it, for most of us do not even have it....Life the same as Love if we call it so it doesn't mean that it is true Life or Love... we just pretend that it is...But yes, Life exist to be shared...Oh, we do not even know exactly what crap is, for very often we call it "OUR" values.

Nah.

Life is made to be lived.

The stuff we accumulate (and not just in material terms) is what we can share if the mood takes us. But life remains something each of us can only do alone and in our own ways.

It is, but it is possibly one of the hardest decisions who we share it with, your life isn't your own in every sense of the word once you make that decision, some people find this hard. For me life would be dull with out sharing it.

Partly true. Life is also about blessings. Staying single is one among the 24 blessings God has given us!
