if someone talks proper english then they act white. i hate that because a lot people have said i act white and i don't think that's true. there is no such thing as acting black either. if someone acts like they're a thug then they're acting black. it's stupid and all it is, is stereotyping.

Ugh, I read this book and really enjoyed it. I want to see if the author has written more:
Starts out telling about the main character, a girl who wears a uniform that includes a hat that is a blinder of sorts. The women can not speak to the men. The women speak oddly to eachother. The main character moves into a home and has to have s*x with the old husband that lives there. The main focus for these women is to become pregnant.

I know, not a lot to go on. I think it may have been a book club book? Anyone??
