My mother is 46, and in April, she was having sever chest pain and her face was always so red. She went to the hospital, they did cardiac cath the next day and told her she needed bypass surgery. Five days later they did the surgery, quadruple bypass, and all was well until last September. She had a mild heart attack. They did an angiogram, put stents in, and she had a TIA(went blind for 11 hours and cant really remember much). The doctor told her she had diseased arteries and that the one(s)(not sure if they did more than one) they fixed was narrowed.

So far. all is well. Shes doing cardiac rehab, and feels a bit fine.

Does anyone know the prognosis after byoass and then angioplasty?

One of my favorite things about one of my kitties is that he gives my toe a gentle tap with his paw when he wants attention. My other kitty gets this crazy purr/meow when my alarm goes off in the morning. My dog brings me a toy in his mouth when I come home (my other dog who has passed on taught him that trick!)

well, now i am! i am feeling blue :(
my high school friends are all working, and i am stuck in college.. so they are so packed where else i am not.. we still chat or some times(really few times in a month), we hang out together!

so does it this life should be after high school??
they have a day off, and i understand if they wanna spend it resting and stuff, but hey! i am feeling so left out!
i gotta new friends, yes, but i can't relate to them Immediately ya know..

i had make approach, coming to their house and asking them to hang out, but well, if they are tired and packed what i gotta do??

so is this what adult life is?? btw, me and my friends are all 19 going to be 20 next year..

My husband got abusive after we got married. we seperated. we did counseling. we got back together. he did it again. we seperated. i filled for a divorce. it took him 4 months to sign the papers. i'm with someone else and i think he's with someone else now as well. but i still get id restricted calls only when i'm not at home (i know it's him) with no one saying anything. we've only been married 2 years. we were together for 5. we are all we know. am i making a mistake and moving too fast?

I bought my girlfriend a really nice necklace. 3 carot diamond necklace which set me back a good amount. When I gave it to her she smiled and said "its so nice!". didnt say thank you or even give me a kiss. About 5 minutes later she goes "Hey did you save your receipts?" I asked her why and she says,"Oh I just wanted them,just for my records,like if I need to exchange anything."

BTW her big "gift" to me was this pullover coat.

I just bought a compact fluorescent fixture for my 55 gallon tank. It has 2 bulbs for a total of 130 watts. Is this considered as moderate lighting? I have onion plants, green hedges, micro swords, and Brazilian swords; will these live? Do I need to add iron fertilizer each month to keep them green?

Also, how do I keep the algae off of them? I had the tank full of java ferns for about 2 months and they are covered in brown algae. I had to set up a 10 with a dozen oto's to clean them. Short of adding a few dozen oto's to my 55, what else can I do to keep them clean?

Believe it or not, i just got a violation notice for saying this: Yeah, tell me about it.
