Believe it or not, i just got a violation notice for saying this: Yeah, tell me about it.

I was agreeing to a question saying that the bible is inaccurate. Oh my shinnanigans. Anyone else here has similar experiences?

That's silly. Honestly. I've been given violation notices for similar answers. I don't know if it will help, but I send a hug in your direction.

Drat, I'll probably be violated for this answer! =]

Weird, eh? I was recently reported for a violation. Someone was asking for homework problems in Computer software to be done for them. They had posted 4 or 5 problems in a row and asked for immediate responses.

I said that it seemed like this was homework, and that they wouldn't get anything out of the class if they didn't do the work. I went on to say that they should give it a try, and then post any specific questions and we'd be happy to help.

Heck, I didn't even say that I thought they were cheating and hurting the honest people in the class.

That said, in spite of my clear atheism and my strong belief that religion is dangerous and evil, I've never been reported for an answer in R and S.

If that's all you said, then they have you on "no chatting allowed". You're not really giving an answer.
I got a violation once for typing "LOL" in a topic I found very funny (I was new to Y!A).

It is annoying, though, to be chastised over something so silly.

yes, for some reason, when i say anything about God or Jesus, i get a lot negative feedback, thumbs down, and i did get a question of mine removed because i offended someone who believed in evolution. So I dont think its r and s. It is the people who decide on their own to go to forums they probably really shouldnt go. i mean if you dont believe in somethng, why bother wasting time.

because that is God's way for you to hear the goodnews.
So its all good.

Yes, and they get you on the technicallity, Well, it's not really an answer...

To me it looks like it...I've had the same thing happen. Questions deleted, WHERE I ACTUALLY ASKED A QUESTION, and the reason was, "Not a question or answer". I even tried to appeal that one, but they come back with more of same. Oh well.

It's just a testament to their sensitivity and silliness. Forgive them, for they know not how stupid they are.

I'm already getting them on this account even though only a handful know who I am. I had about 4 or 5 even before I asked any questions.

I violated somehow by stating an easily verifiable fact. The fact that most Christians (and most theists) have a defined mental illness called Grandiose Delusional Disorder...google it.

It's a fact and they say I violated...arg, it's frustrating.

I got a violation notice for telling a harmless joke that didn't single anyone out at all. Yes people are sensitive... or just controlling.

Yep that kind of thing happens all the time.
It's called 'freedom of speech'.
It means something like: If people doesn't like you - or what you say - they are free to report you.

Isn't quite my way of being - but so it is.
