not only is she harassing me, and stressing me out over this, but 2 weeks prior to my place getting robbed, i asked the landlord to fix the locks, there is only one lock and no deadbolt. she says i have until friday(28th) to get out, or she'll have my property removed. she wont except rent, but yet she is pro rating this last week and a half, and taking it off of my security deposit. she threatens that everyone who comes by here, she'll call the police for trespassing.i live in florida. even after the robbery, she refused to put new locks on the door. no where on the lease does it say that i cannot have friends. when i showed her the lease, she tried to keep it. i did however get it back.

most people won't lie, but im talking extreme cases like you're starving and you need to tell a lie in order to eat or someone you love already has his half, then would you mislead that half to get your lover?
basically im talking easy way out if you lie and agony and emotional pain if you're not willing to disappoint yourself

I have a home theatre setup, where, when I sit facing the screen, my equipment rack comes to the right side of me, just next to the seats. I have placed my subwoofer between the equipment rack and the right side wall.

Now the problem-
The distance of my subwoofer from the listening position is around 2 metres (if measured in a straight line). There is my equipment rack in this path and while sitting the subwoofer is not even visible because of this. When I use automatic setup with a microphone, I get a distance of 7 metres (I suspect that this is after a bounce from some wall). Is there some other way to calculate for this kind of sub placement?

I don't want to change the sub position as this placement gives me the best low frequency response, with no smearing, tight, and without any boom. The listening position also has to remain the same. The subwoofer is a front firing, ported design.

Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Have you guys heard KFC doing all kinda bad things to their chickens. They throw them into walls so their bones break, they even stomp on them. They give them steroids, it gets so bad until the chicken can't even walk. They die where thousands of other chickens and held. Which is really nasty and disturbing. They also cut the beak of a baby chicklet not long after it's born. It's so sad. That's why I haven't eaten there in a year and planning not to.

What do you guys think about this?

My daughter got sick and i saw her in the hospital. Me and my wife are separated and ive been asking for a divorce. sHE LEFT BECAUSE of arguments, and there was a guy in her life that was a friend but she liked him. She 23, im 23, she in the hospital talking to him on the phone.And gigling and laughing she tells him that she has to see him friday night to tell him something in person, then she says "It nothing bad", then she says no, i cant tell you now".then she continues to tell him about my daughter illness, as if he were a regular friend. Then she calls her friend, who is also his friend to tell her that she meeting with him, but hes not sure cause he might be busy. we just talked about trivial stuff; till my daughter, 19months was discharged. in the past,She has told me if he asked her out she would be his girl. Unfortunately, i still love her, but she seem not to care.I hid my anger, but I felt extreamly disrespected by her talking to him right in my face. Should i be mad?

ok....i got into purdue....heard its a gd college for engineering...so my sights r on it. HOWEVER, heard that west lafayette is a rip off....no culture, little to do....and juz cornfields, is this true???!!!.....heard chigaco and Indianopolis...r da only options for FUN!.............im an international student living in singapore, how would it appeal to me!!!????.....also......hows purdue is general,....is the setup urban....is it fun.....will the campus compensate for off-campus disaster?!?.......also, which are the best residence halls to live in????? for men tht is

I have a 2001 lexus is300. I never had a problem with my first car which was a bmw. I have problems defogging my car when it comes onto the windshield. I tried the defog button but it works on the back only. I rolled down the windows but its too slow and usually its raining hell outside. I used cold air but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. I even tried to AC. Sometimes none of them work and I almost died pulling over because they dont work fast enough. Should I use defog with cold air? Should I use the cold air with AC or with AC off? Please help. And please give me advice on how to keep the fog away from my windshield- for good. what i should do to prevent it in the winter. Please help, thanks

Even when he's wrong, he acts like he's right. He can say whatever he wants about me and my personality flaws, but when I do the same, he won't listen.

Not too long ago, my parents wanted to go to Walmart and they had to leave quickly because the photocenter was going to close soon. I was planning to come, but I wasn't ready, and usually it takes me forever to get ready (I'm a chick, lol) and I knew how impatient they were about wanting to wait for me, I told them to go ahead anyway because I knew they didn't want to wait for me. I was actually, looking back on it, being considerate that I wasn't letting them hold up on waiting for me otherwise the photocenter would have closed.

So when I told them I shouldn't go, my dad said "Oh, she probably just wants to stick on the computer all day" (in an insulting tone) and I explained to him and told him that he was wrong and I told him the real reason of why I couldn't go (it would take to long for me to get ready)

Ok so hers the deal I want to learn to play the aoustic guitar, something that’s not too expensive, that’s also easy to learn on, and good to have and keep in the long run, but the problem I’m running into is when I try to use my friends it hurts my arm I know that travel guitars are smaller but I have been reading up and it seems that they don’t give as good of a sound. any suggestions?
