I live in NE and the father lives in MO. He wants joint custody but I don't want him to be able to take my child through Iowa down to MO every other weekend or whatever the case may be. My friends have told me that in NE, you cannot give joint custody to a parent who lives outside of the state because they cannot legally take the child across state lines, at least not without the other parents permission. I was just wondering if there is any truth to this or if anyone else has been in a similar situation.

I have charter digital cable (and please, no get satellite tv, we can't...sorry) and I'm the only one in the house who has the dvr box (motorola) and the picture has been freezing off and on for the past few days but right now it's totally frozen on all channels. The other cable box upstairs is fine.
I tried unplugging the box, disconcerting the cable from it and it's still frozen in the same spot.

What else can I do?

I work at Best Buy and it's been HELL. People spitting at each other outside for a parking spot, butting in front of others in line, shoplifting, fraud, fights over a laptop, customers grouchy with the sales people. I think I've seen it all. I put in some overtime on my last two checks and waking up at ungodly hours to open the store the past two weeks and I got two hours of sleep last night. Got any crazy stories?

I have a 4 year old mare that i wish to breed. We tried last breeding season, but she did not concieve and it was too late in the season to continue trying, so i decided to wait untill this spring. The thing i would like to know is If there is anything in particular i should do to prepare her, since she has never been in foal before? The stallion is fertile and he is at the barn i board at. Would it be easier to do in-hand breeding or pasture breeding and how often? Thanks so much...

One day, Peter gets a call from his blonde girlfriend, Katie.
"Hey, I really need your help" says Katie.
"What's the matter?" asks Peter.
"Well, i'm trying to do this jigsaw puzzle, but i'm finding it really hard cos none of the pieces fit." replies Katie.
"Oh ok. What's the picture of?" asks Peter.
"Just a big rooster" replies Katie.
"All right" says Peter, "I'm coming over to have a look."

So he goes over to Katie's house and she takes him to the jigsaw puzzle on the table.
Peter has a look, then turns to Katie and says, "oh for Christ's sake - put the Cornflakes back in the box."
