Any of you work in retail? Where do you work? Do you want this season to end?

Question

I work at Best Buy and it's been HELL. People spitting at each other outside for a parking spot, butting in front of others in line, shoplifting, fraud, fights over a laptop, customers grouchy with the sales people. I think I've seen it all. I put in some overtime on my last two checks and waking up at ungodly hours to open the store the past two weeks and I got two hours of sleep last night. Got any crazy stories?

I work in Express and I know exactly what ur going through!!! Holiday shoppers are so so nasty! My mall doesn't close till 11 for Christmas and sometimes us closers don't get out till 2 in the morning!! My store is always trashed even though almost everyone is working. People get extremely angry when you tell them they can't combine coupons and being a cashier is like a painful slow death! That's why I refuse to help any customers during the holidays. I always send them to another associate or something.

Today, me and another associate folded men's graphic tees from 7a till 3:30 NONSTOP!!! I was actually telling people not to touch our shirt piles cause I didn't want anyone screwing them up.
I HATE WORKING IN RETAIL DURING THE HOLIDAYS!!!

I never worked retail. I was a beautician then became a nurse.
