I bought a really cute pair of shoes and my heel keeps coming out of my shoe with every other step it seems like. I tried the smaller size but it was too small. Now, i have a meeting in 30 mins and i dont want to walk in tripping on my shoe... anyone have a quick fix? should i stuff TP in the toes? Will that help?

I recently overheard a short conversation with my mom and dad. My mom is worried about my future well-being, because she believes that Im somewhat slow mentally, and not as keen and too naive. I am not sure what bases she is judging me on, but she seems to always predict that I'll be at my full wisdom in my late middle ages. But I believe that Im certainly not mentally disabled, even if I'm not the most reactive and proactive person ever.
I admit that we dont have as close of a relationship as many other moms and daughters because she is always busy. But we still love each other. My mom and dad's relationship isn't that good, and she said that she stayed because of me. She would praise me for how talented and bright I am, but now it seems to be all on the surface.
She has hinted at that in conversations about my ideal future husband, and she believes that I want to marry my bf (which she doesnt approve of). I just turned 20 and I believe she still treats me like a child

My husband graduated boot camp Dec. 7th and now is heading into A-School. Does anyone know how leave time works, like when he can come off base, or stay over night, how long? Things like that. Im trying to debate if i should move up there while he is in school or not. Its only for 10 weeks and then he will get his orders and will probably go somewhere else. I really do not understand this aspect of Christian doctrine. I don't believe in Jesus/stories in the Bible, so I don't get into heaven. That's cool/whatever. But when I go to Hell the Devil gets to burn me in a lake of fire forever? Why is he doing this?

Not only have those numbers been seriously inflated by disreputable sources, the amount killed by our military is a VERY tiny fraction of that amount.
Isn't it nice how people take the media skew on things? The media never actually says we killed them but insinuates it a lot.
This ought to make for interesting answers. Let me guess, We caused them to kill each other or many numbers not based in fact. Let the rhetoric begin!

Why do people take these medicines that seem to have extreme side effects? I know some medications may actually help some people, but when you are at risk to getting heart failure, cysts, possible death, etc. etc., I don't see the point in trying them in the first place. Maybe I'm wrong?
