The reason I ask is b/c I have had two miscarriages in a row. I am freakin out! First one was passed naturally. 2nd one I have to get a D and C b/c there was no heart beat.

When the the electric goes out, will we be able to use our emergency battery operated TV's ? Do I have to buy new TV sets ? Do I have to hook up to cable, dish or some other expensive outlet to watch (what has always been FREE) television? When and why was this law passed and who will profit from this change?

I appreciate & love his music. He has a way of crafting songs that EVERYONE feels like that "get" & that is a gift. But let's face it the guy was totally selfish. He treated the media like shi*t & always had this attitude like he was better then everyone else. Lets say computer 1 has a printer/scanner attached and computer 2 doesn't .... I configured it so that I could print from computer 2, is there a way to scan from computer 1 and send it to computer 2 directly without the messenger or mail. Thank you.

I have started babysitting this little boy during the week while his mom goes to school. My little sister is graduating from college on Friday and I really want to go, but I would have leave Wednesday and won't be back until Sunday. I told the mother last week that she would need to make other arrangements for her son those 3 days. She told me today that she couldn't find anything to do with him. I really want to go, I haven't had a vacation or a break from my own kids in over 7 years. My sanity really depends on this trip, what do I do? I don't want to leave her "screwed" but I really need this vacation.

Hey everyone--

I am needing to apply for my first credit card soon to start building some credit. What are some things that I should know about and consider when I am doing this? I am planning on making payments as soon as possible. Where can I find a credit card with an interest rate that won't get me out of too much money? Is there a certain place I can go to apply for a credit card WITHOUT going through a mail service? These things would be great to know. Thanks!

First, lets look at the relevant Islamic scripture -

Imagine your a pious Muslim who follows the Quran to the letter. Suppose one day, you feel very insecure, get paranoid, and through no fault of your wife, get the irrational fear that she might "desert" you. What does the Quran tell you to do - "Admonish" THEN "leave alone" THEN "beat her".

Notice how these are all straightforward commands that are triggered by the "fear of desertion". Now, once you beat her, doesnt your fear of her leaving you only increase? What must you do when you fear desertion...beat her again right? Therefore, the only thing that can stop this viscious circle of beating woman than make you feel insecure, is death.

FEAR OF DESERTION -> BEAT WOMAN -> MORE FEAR -> MORE ISLAMIC BEATING...DEATH

Isn't it ignoying when someone signs an online petition just to ruin the petition by stating an opposing opinion? Petitions are for the peole who agree with the petition. In real life you wouldn't sign a petition to make an opposing statement.
