Last year my husband started to take his running really seriously and started entering races and training really hard. He has been in a bunch of 5Ks and two half marathons and he is really enjoying himself. What would be a great gift to get him that would aid him in his training? For his birthday and Father's Day I got him a Garmin and a subscription to a running magazine. Do those "Nip-Guard" things work or do bandaids work as well? Also, what can he use for chafing? Thanks.

I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT SIZE. I mean physical appearance.
Due to a certain childhood accident with a pants zipper there is a HUGE scar along the tip that makes it look deformed. Plus it is significantly curved to the left side. Also due to a low blood pressure condition, there are several large varicose veins running along it.

If I did well pardon me. I remember saying that no one knows if there is a god or not. That includes both, make believe Christians and make believe atheists. I use "god" or "no god" to suit my end purpose. Am I supposed to believe that "you" don't?

Tampon, Maxi pad, and Vagisil commercials...is it necessary for them to go into THAT much detail? Do we not all know how these products work and function, or do some women actually benefit from the visual of how a Playtex tampon opens up once it is inside the body? And Vagisil? Granted some women will need this product in their lifetime, but while I'm eating my dinner I don't need to be hearing about the odor, itching and burning induced by vaginal infections! I just don't! And do men really benefit from any of this knowledge either? I believe there are some things my husband does not need to know! Are any of you sick and tired of these graphic commercials? I say what's good for us is good for them too---I wanna see a guy on TV with a tube of Jock Itch Relief Spray talking about it as he itches his boys. Hey, we're already humiliated, why shouldn't they be? My kids are asking way too many questions about these commercials---it's not right!

I have noticed some of the questions coming up about proving/disproving some foundations of ideologies.
I just thought I'd ask this:
Who do you think the burden of proof is on the shoulders of; the Theists, or the Atheists? why or why not?

Like in the 50's it was the soft-spoken, feminine, wife and mother who stayed home and was the best cook, housekeeper, etc. Always had her hair done i.e. June on Leave it to Beaver vacuming in pearls.

What about nowadays? How is the ideal wife portrayed do you think?

How often have you heard of or seen the sleeping disorder, Delayed sleep phase syndrome(DSPS) ?

Sleeping is ruining my life. I'm constantly stressed because I can't wake up on time, and I get fewer than 5 hours of sleep a night.

People have freedom of choice. If the choices they make cause them to be put into negative circumstances, how is it the responsibility of the government to take money by force from the people who make good financial decisions and redirect it to the people who make poor choices?

In this kind of system, responsibility will never be encouraged because people will never have to face starvation and death for the poor choices they've made. If compassion is necessary, why can't individuals and charities do it with donations instead of the government doing it with taxes?

You can argue that capitalism and the free market isn't fair but stealing from those who have earned their wealth is not exactly fair either.

People must work to earn their living. If they can't find work in one location, it is their responsibility to relocate. It simply isn't fair that I will have to live my entire life paying for people who won't work. If I want to help someone, it should be my choice.

I answered the phone to who I thought my was niece Mary.
I asked her what had taken so long for her to ring me and tell me she was having another baby.
It went deathly silent the other end. Then a voice replied, Sylvia I don't know who you are talking to but you have the wrong Mary. I'm not pregnant!

It was my 67 year old neighbour! lmao

Did I feel a fool! xx
