here are some home remedies which are very good for dry hair. i had dry hair myself but when i tried these tips it was great! they've never been dry again!

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.
First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Do not use Bioloage products, even the moisturizing ones are drying. Do not use Pantene, it leaves a buildup on your hair that is difficult to remove.

Go to a beauty supply shop, (Sally Beauty) or a salon or Rite Aide or another large chain drugstore and get some Redkin, Paul Mitchel or Nexus product. Start with a good shampoo and conditioner and if you can get a leave in styling spray.

It may take a week or so for really repairing your hair but you will notice a big difference after the first or second time that you wash your hair.

Good luck!

Take a mixture of mayo and raw egg mix together and put on hair! Concentrating on the ends! Cover with a cap ( or a plastic grocery bad works fine) Leave on for about 45 min (it will smell) but it works !! Also buy something called cholesterol(usually found at any department store in the "African American section) use twice a week cost about $3.00 last a long time. I have very fine dry hair and these things seem to work the best!

Make sure you're getting it trimed every six weeks and go to a salon supply place and get your shampo and conditioner there, they arent as hard on your hair... also if you blow it dry or use any type of hot tool it will tend to dry your hair out even more then normal. If you feel it looks okay, try doing things with it that dont take any heat.

I use the Dove shampoo and conditioner (for dry hair in the navy blue bottles) and the work sooooo well. Redkin "allsoft" is great also but a lot more expensive.
