I think it's great. First woman champion in ARCA's 55 year history.

That is really cool. She is a good driver and up against the odds of driving with the guy who have the mentality (if any mentality) that the women's place is in the kitchen. I have been a fan of hers for quit some time and glad to see here hard effort is finally starting to pay off.
WAY TO GO ERIN!!!

Congratulations to Erin, I don't have anything against her. On the other hand, it's interesting that Ray's cup program goes to hell while at the same time Crocker's Evernham owned ARCA car wins the speedway championship. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm. I've been saying it for well over a year now, Ray seems to have his priorities screwed up at the moment.

Good for Erin. If she wants to get in Cup or nationwide or trucks, the ARCA championship will put a shine on her resume.

Good Job Erin....even if Congrats are a little late in coming.

Both Trego and Mr Miller have very valid (if somewhat funny) points. Evernham's cup program really went to hell, but i don't think his ARCA program was all that much better. She did have a few top finishes, but for the most part was an "also-ran" in most races.

i don't know IF she slept with Ray, but I wouldn't doubt it either. Stranger things have happened!!!

She is okay, I think she was probably the reason Everham didn't do that great in Cup this yr..Ray was more focused on her..Not sure if she has enough talent to make it in Sprint Cup, maybe Nationwide Series.. Its great to see a woman win a title, maybe now Ray can concentrate on getting Gillette-Everham Cup program back in victory lane..

I think its great. I hope she can get a decent shot in Nationwide and the Sprint cup series. I know she has already tried in the trucks and Busch series. I think she needs to keep her racing seperate from her personal life. She will suffer if she doesnt. Nascar needs women in its sport. Nascar has already fallen behind the NHRA as far as women drivers. The NHRA has quite a few female drivers in it and doing well.

Well hopefully for her sake, it will be the needed bump back up to getting a decent ride in the truck or busch series. Congrats to her

I never even knew that she won it but I think that it is great for the sport because there will be more diversity between the genders in the sport. It will help to bring in even more fans which will only help the sport.

About time she does something positive. Wonder who she slept with this time.

She was dating Ray Evernham for awhile there. If she hoped to be taken seriously as a racer dating your boss probably wasn't the best way to go about it. Its only going to lead to the questions like...Are you here because you have talent in the car or in the bed?
