Tampon, Maxi pad, and Vagisil commercials...is it necessary for them to go into THAT much detail? Do we not all know how these products work and function, or do some women actually benefit from the visual of how a Playtex tampon opens up once it is inside the body? And Vagisil? Granted some women will need this product in their lifetime, but while I'm eating my dinner I don't need to be hearing about the odor, itching and burning induced by vaginal infections! I just don't! And do men really benefit from any of this knowledge either? I believe there are some things my husband does not need to know! Are any of you sick and tired of these graphic commercials? I say what's good for us is good for them too---I wanna see a guy on TV with a tube of Jock Itch Relief Spray talking about it as he itches his boys. Hey, we're already humiliated, why shouldn't they be? My kids are asking way too many questions about these commercials---it's not right!

I totally agree with you. I personally LOVE (joking) those Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra commercials that air during dinner time - I'm sure that they are a load of fun to explain to children. I think those kinds of commercials should be shown only after 8:00 PM to avoid exposing children to them. And I don't think they need as much detail, either. If you really want the information about the products, you'll find a way to figure it out.

nicely, i'm no longer an African-American woman, particularly i'm a white guy. yet i've got have been given to declare, the colour purple is between the suitable video clips ever made. sure, it portrays incest and sexual abuse. It additionally portrays infidelity, racism, and kin violence. yet, that isn't any longer advertising those issues, that's demonizing those behaviors. yet, I see your factor. advertising proper issues is effectual. advertising all the best issues in existence as completely accessible would be internalized by potential of the objective marketplace, making it a blueprint for his or her very own lives. So, particularly, you're good. merchandising of all that's staggering is significant and desires plenty greater interest. yet, various the thoughts we are instructed (like the colour purple) help to align our hearts and minds with real studies of people, so as that we don't harm others.

Yeah they do go into too much detail my little cousin who is 9 asked me what they were for the other day. All I said was you will find out when you are married because I am not the one who is going to tell him. I don't pay much attention to commercials but yeah they have to much information on them because little children watch TV too and we can just read the package can't we.

they come on at the worst times ever. I can't stand those commercials. Women leaping around and doing cartwheels.. letting you know it's OKAY to do cartwheels while on your period....or run while out walking your dog.....

whats the big deal? we all have periods and its nothing to be embarrassed about! and maybe men should know about these things - if it isn't made into a big deal - there is a better chance they would stop at a store and pick up tampons without getting embarrassed! its all normal human body functions.

Whoo hoo! Ride on! I agree with you. It is gross and demeaning to woman--it almost makes it look like we are doomed to bad hygiene or something.
Guys aren't always feeling or smelling "fresh down there." Where are their creams and ointments?
