My fiance' and I got engaged two months ago, and we've been together nearly two years. His older brother and girlfriend of five months got engaged a couple weeks ago because she had it in her head she had to be married before a certain age. She insists on having her wedding next fall, knowing that ours is the following fall. The main issue is that they announced their engagement in church before us. My fiance and I haven't been able to attend together for a few weeks due to our manager putting him on schedule temp during church time. Now people from chruch have heard we're engaged, and they congratulate us, but say something along the lines, "Oh, you're engaged too?" as if we're trailing after his brother and fiancee'. It bothers me that they announced before us when we've been engaged nearly two months before them. I'm happy for them, but a little miffed. Am I wrong? And how would you handle this situation?

hey so my grandpa (im not making this up its not me haha) has been having REALLY bad diarrhea like a few months ago and now it came back. like my grandma woke up from his stomach rumbling, then he woke up n ran to the bathroom. alot of times he doesnt make it.


its not like the flu or anything.. and we dont know whats wrong. he has diabetes but hes ALWAYS had that. n this is the only symtom hes having.. shes trying to keep a food diary..

and my grandma said it might be something that starts with a C?? idk but im really worried about my grandpa..
(obviously hes been to a doctor but they dk whats wrong!)

Okay please serious answers only...I am too exhausted and have nobody else to ask. My husband of 7 years (I'm 21 now and he's 33) was physically abusive. I left him 2 months ago and have recently been in contact via the telephone. He promises that he's going to change and that he's serious about it.

I left him 2 years ago, and when I came back things got worse - he ended up breaking my neck. But he always refused to get help. This time he says he will go to therapy if I want - that he'll do anything for me. I just want to know people's opinions on whether people can actually change if they try?

Ok well lets just say my gf likes sex just a lil too much, like I am just sitting there watching football and she starts to try to seduce me or something, and every guy knows you don't do that during the game, but omg it is all the time she does it in stores and around my parents, i can't take it anymore, im not really into sex so she doesn't get it much could that be why she wants it so much. its really embarrassing and annoying especially while i am watching football u just don't do that. is there any pills or anything i can give her?

I hope this question doesn't sound insensitive; I care about these people and have donated my time and money to help them. There are so many places they can turn to for help in getting back on their feet. I don't understand why so many are homeless.

I know there are government, church, and charitable organizations that provide food and shelter. There are also place that help people get cleaned up, give them new clothes and help them find jobs and prepare for the interview. I did my Eagle Scout project for a place like that. There are also government programs to help the physically and mentally disabled.

I don't understand why so many people are homeless.
