Unless you want to go new, check out second hand stores. It sounds like you're looking for retro.
Prices are going up on retro, because it has come full circle. However, there is enough out their to find. I you find a piece you really like, you may have recover in order to get the colors you're looking for. With retro you might be able to do yourself.
Get out there and start looking. I know of a black retro chair right now in a second hand store. Obviously, I love the hunt and love second hand stores. You just never know what you'll find.
I have seen some hanging lamps. Tipicol retro in department stores. Try Target .... they seem to have a variety of choices.
Where I live now, there are now Target Stores. I miss them.
Wall hangings, could be bright framed, glass posters. Large, medium, small whatever you choose. I've seen some really neat posters. Something you won't get tired of. Could have fun picking and choosing. Consider myself lucky, found large, black framed, glass poster at the Goodwill. You never know what your find is going to be for the day. My poster is now hanging in lower level bathroom.
Disco - - - Retro sounds pretty much the same. If not, could be combined. The kind of chairs etc. you're talking about don't take up much room.
Sounds like a fun project. Have fun with it.

Ikea may have what you're looking for. There were some fun things in the "living in small spaces" section when my bf and I were shopping for bedroom furniture last week. Cute coffee and end tables, and Ikea always has fun, colorful chairs.

I would say ikea, but most of the stuff there breaks easily or is missing parts. You can get some pretty cheap stuff if you are not looking to spend a lot in the as-is department there. However, usually if you can find a small local head shop you can usually find all that stuff made out of better materials. The only downside to that is that it tends to be a little expensive.

Hey IKEA is so cool. I decorated my daughters room with INFLATED NEON colored furniture and she loved it. The furniture is very comfy, sturdy and strong. It has been 1 yr and still as firm as the first time.
SPENCERS is another place for funky stuff
BUT IKEA is the place to go.
Have fun

There is some new Swedish brand furniture out now, it's pretty cool but it's also expensive. I can't remember the name off hand but they are opening up as franchises so I'm sure you can find it on line.
