There isn't really a cure, it's just about practicing speaking. When you are alone, just read out loud to yourself. Many people have gotten over their stammers by reading out loud. It will take time, but eventually, you will start to notice a difference.

There is no real cure but stuttering/ stammering can be lessened with techniques that can be learned from a speech therapist who specializes in treating stuttering. If you can't get to a specialist, get the book "Self Therapy for the Stutterer" available at Amazon.com and www.stutteringhelp.org.

A friend of mine helped his nephew completely stop stammering by asking him to read childrens books backwards outloud everyday. What I mean is he would look at a page and start at the bottom, last sentence.
If the sentence stated, "The red fox ran through the gate and over the bridge." He would read aloud, "Bridge the over and gate the through ran fox red the."
He had him read faster each couple of weeks. He said it worked.
You may wish to try it. However, I think he stuck with it for some time, maybe several months, before he saw real changes.
