Okay, here's the thing. Her boyfriend tells her that he is busy. He says that he needs to study for a chemistry exam. But, then he tells her to call him so that he can "talk his voice away" with her. So, she calls him again and again but he won't pick up the phone. Eventually, after two weeks, someone does but it is his best friend who picks up the phone and after finding out it is her, he hungs up on her, telling her that her boyfriend is still busy studying for this "exam". It's passed two weeks! And he's in high school, not college. Any guesses as to why this guy is doing this to her?

Six billion people on a world that can hold a half-billion at a non-impoverished (industrialized) lifestyle level. How long will the earth last if we try to industrialize other allready overpopulated nations? At what point will we be forced to put caps on the populations of allready industrialized nations?

My 21st birthday is in two weeks, and I'm not quite sure where to go. Yikes! I'm torn between these three places: Atlanta, Chicago, or New York City. I live in Cumming, which is around thirty-something miles north of Atlanta (although I don't know much about Atlanta). So, to help me decide, I'd like to know where you would go for your birthday, and why. (If you have your own destination, feel free to share! Just no Vegas suggestions. lol.)

Do you think people who are suffering from serious mental diesease can not have a successful life? My older sister is suffering from it. She was a qualified doctor, spent a normal life but her life was ruined because her relationship was broken up. For the last 15 years, she went through electric shocks, pills, sorta prision life at hospital, all her own. She got married with another guy but she was divorced when her hubby figured it out. So All I am asking here is that she will spend her future life like this forever? She is just 38.

Your very own. For whatever. (360 blog not counting)

I'm so tempted to make one, but it's an intimidating prospect. ...that & I have no real idea what I'd do one for. Most likely music-related. Maybe an internet radio station. (though w/ the recent changes in the law, that might be out o' the que$tion)

So tell me:

If you have one, what're the pros & cons?

Pain to maintain?
Expensive?
Easier than I think?
Anyone ever do their own 'net radio?

thx

The distance from Homeplate to the leftfield wall is 418.75 feet. baseball player hits the ball 3 feet above homeplate. PeeWee Reese is playing shortstop and he jumps and reaches 10 feet into the air but the ball clears his mit by a few inches. The ball travels out towards leftfield and goes over the wall by a foot and is a homerun. The left field wall is exactly 6 feet. The height of the ball varies quadratically with the distance from homeplate. a Baseball Diamond is a square with the sides 90 feet. Find a quadratic function describing the ball's homerun and determine the maximum height of the baseball.

What if they are using your credulity to take advantage of you?
Religion was established to manipulate the minds of the populace and make them meek and easily controllable.
Think about it if you like yourself.

If baptism for the dead was a Christian ceremony, why did Paul use the pronoun “they” rather than “we” or “ye”? Why did he exclude himself and other Christians when referring to it? (I Cor. 15:29)
