I just, well, deal with it. Just let it be, let it hurt, its easier than trying to fix it, or trying to make the pain goes away because that may drive us into doing things we'll regret later, and put ourself in other unnecessary trouble.

If its meant to hurt, let it hurt. You'll get numb towards it eventually

day by day and if it gets worse i sit down and write down the bad things and the good things and see im not too badly off so the pain usually goes away

engage in something that takes your mind off it.
i've heard wild stories about people being completely numb or immune to physical pain just because they were concentrating so heavily on something else. perhaps that can work for emotional pain as well.

Sometimes it's just one minute at a time.

Tylenol (no motrin since I'm pregnant).
Meditation.
Massage.
Rest.
Warm Baths.
Heating Pads.
Ice Packs.

I turn to other people to help me . I also listen to sad songs that i feel i can relate to .

EDIT : it really depends on what kind of pain .
emotional or physical .
