As many of your LDS answers point out, LDS teaching is that we are all children of God, including Satan and Jesus.

As with any passage of the Bible, those you've used here are open to interpretation.

Ezekiel passage- Jehovah, speaking to His prophet, seems to be describing Man- the human species, all physical descendants of Adam and Eve.... According to LDS teachings, this definitely does NOT include Satan, as he chose to not follow God's plan and have a mortal experience. (makes about as much sense as the claim someone made- they said that Mormons teach that the Black race is offspring of Satan... *roll eyes* to have physical offspring, one must have a physical body. Satan doesn't, so he couldn't have possibly fathered ANYONE...)

Hebrews passage- This pasage defines the relationship between God and, Jesus- father and son.

Given my understanding of these two passages, I'm not really able to answer your question, since one appears to be irrelevant.

A question for you-
I've noticed that a lot of people say what you've noted- "Satan was created." I'm curious where that comes from. I'm not arguing the point, just curious about the source.

Actually you have miss quoted the scriptures neither are talking about Satan but about Man. In fact nowhere do I see anything about Satan's relationship to Christ or Man except in Job and Isaiah and alittle in Revelations. Their for is seems to me that based only on the Bible you lack the nessesary information to make this assumption.

Let me explain why we believe this.

First we are all spiritual sons and daughters of God. He created us... All of us. This encludes Christ and Lucifer. Based on this alone we can deduce we are all brothers encluding Christ and Lucifer.
Christ and Lucifer were two of the most advanced and powerful and righteous among the spirits and when we were gathered to gether to discuss our future both layed before our Father a plan. Christ's (the one chosen) allowed us to retain our right to choose and gave the Glory to the Father. Lucifer's plan would have saved us all but we would have had no choice, and for doing this Lucifer wanted all the credit.
When Christ's plan was chosen Lucifer was angry and incited a revolt. He was cast out of heaven to the earth. With him was cast out 1/3 the hosts of heaven or the spirits of our brothers and sisters. All were cast here to earth never to recieve the physical body that would allow our progretions to continue and were there for damned.

Simiple, beautiful, and true.

In light of Hebrews 1:4

Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

I thought Jesus wasn't made...but since this says he was, then I guess Jesus was a creation of God....

The answer is simple. We were all born spiritual sons and daughters of God in the pre-mortal existence. We lived as spiritual entities in the presence of God. The firstborn spiritual son was Jehovah, or Jesus Christ. Sometime after the Lord was born, Lucifer came along and was regarded highly as an intelligent son of the morning (it's in the Bible).

Jesus Christ is our Elder Brother as well as our Savior and Redeemer. Lucifer is also a spiritual brother, but one gone wayward through serious rebellion against the Father's Plan of Salvation.

Just about all families have their black sheep. Lucifer was the black sheep of God's entire family and those that followed him.

Satan, or Lucifer, was created as we all were created--as spiritual sons and daughters of God. That makes us all brothers and sisters.

Just because you don't accept it does not make it false.

p.s. I've read the Book of Job along with the rest of the Bible. I also keep track of modern revelations through the prophets of God.

Who said they were "brothers?"

We are all creations of God. All of us--all humans, all animals, all spirits. Even Satan--however, like a wayward child, Satan wanted it his way.

Satan rebelled because he wanted God's glory. Jesus loved the Father and wanted to do His will. Their relationship to each other is otherwise not relevant, except for one's love for God and the other's adversity to Him.

The mormons believe that Satan and Christ were both created in the same manner that our bodies now are created. With a father and a mother. We believe that we are the literal offspring of diety.

Well first of all if you believe something is created from nothing, you have no idea of who God truly is or who we are. Until you do, you just will not get it.

I've always wondered that too. I believe that Joseph Smith was able to supersede everything.

B. Young was quoted a few times as saying things like Christians were lost etc.

Plastic punk, god requires raw materials? You are right, I don't get it. I never entertained the possibility of limiting God.
