A collision with a semi-trailer truck at Wal Mart where she worked left 52-year-old Deborah Shank permanently brain-damaged and in a wheelchair.

Her husband, Jim, and three sons found a small source of solace: a $700,000 accident settlement from the trucking company involved. After legal fees the remaining $417,000 was to be used for Mrs. Shank's care.

Wal Mart sued the Shanks for the $470,000 it had spent already on her medical care. A federal judge ruled last year in Wal-Mart's favor.

If the money goes to Wal Mart, what will she use for expensive future care?

My husband wants sex all the time, we have been married for 5 years and together for 8. We have two loving kids together. I love him with all my heart, but sex is just not on my mind 24/7. Im always busy with work or cleaning the house or taking care of the kids. We share a lot of time together and that time never seems like enough. He comes in from work and expects me to have sex with him right then and there, no matter where we are or whos at the house with us. He dont care. When he wants it, its suppose to be done right then. Who really thinks Russia and China will sit by and watch the US take another nation

Take their oil supplier and set up camp to dictate to their economies ?


Would the US let any nation take over a resouce supplier to America and then allow that to dictate to the US ?

Niether wil Russia or China - If Bush is stupid enough to back Russia and China into a corner they will fight - and so would anyone else in the same position

It is a sticky situation at best. One where each side in this multi-sided conflict will be quick to point fingers at the other side. Why do Palestinian supporters only blame Israel for this mess? For example, when Israel invaded Lebanon, they were going after the people who routinely bomb their cities and kidnap their soldiers.

Is there not equal blame for the ones who started this mess? I mean Israel would not have dropped bombs in Lebanon if they were not provoked. Yes I know, you say Israel provoked the Palestinians and/or other Arabs. They say the Palestinians started it. Where will it end?

With Israeli nuclear bombs, no Arab country will again attack Israel. All they are doing is mosquito bites that will provoke the Jews into more reprisals. You will never destroy Israel without destroying the Muslims along with them. So how do you have peace in the MIddle East?

If you ignore one side of a fight and only blame the other side, you will NEVER have peace.

I would like to have an alarm system installed in my house using an independent contractor so I can buy a better system for cheap and then negotiate my monitoring contract with a company. My electrician says he doesn't do it. Is this unheard of in the industry? What kind of contractor would do this kind of installation?

Tomorrow's black friday and i need to decide between:

EPSON all-in-one printer ($24.99)
- Print speeds up to 24 ppm* in black and 12 ppm* in color
- 5760 x 1440 optimized dpi resolution

OR

HP all-in-one printer ($34)
-ink cost is low ink (black: $14.95, color: $17.95)
-print speed: 11ppm

Ive heard a lot of bad things about Epsons and im not sure about the whole 4 cartridges (are they expensive)?

Im not so crazy about the speed on HP either, but ive had a regular compaq printer IJ600 since '97 & its time for an update.

all suggestions are appreciated. thanks!

Our T-day dinner tasted great. It should, since I cooked it all. My sis in law A forgot to inform us she was busy when we planned months ago. She showed up at 12pm today and called her mom and grandma to come. Dinner wasnt until 6, since my bro in law and his family had his wife's family stuff to attend at 1pm. First thing my mom in law says when she arrives is that we should have already had the turkey cooked. It was all I could do to not scream at all of them. I am sick of mom in law and grandma only worrying about themselves and my sis in law A. Every family function is centered around A who has no children and arrives late to everything without the stuff she said she'd bring. I cooked the food she was supposed 2 bring today in addition to the turkey, dressing and casserole I was making. I also had a house full of way too early guests. How do I nicely tell my husband's family that we aren't hosting Christmas festivities here? They are just too demanding and self centered!

i recnely added a few to many new fish and now in my saltwater tank its clouldy water i think its goin thourgh a mini-cycle i cant seems to lower the nitrite and amminonia i change the water now every other day is there anthing else i can do also the fish seem to be breathing harder and getting a smell from it what else i can i do but how much water changes it too much b4 i kill my fish and mess up everything i change about five gallons every change what can i do

ok so deep inside i really like my dad.
i guess i take advatage of him
like if i go shopping with him i can get anything i want
but when we are at home and he asks for a kiss ( just on a cheek ) i get all squirmy and run away. and then i feel sorry because i hurt his feelings.
im kinda worried too
because he always does something wrong and my mom yells at him alot
and how i reject him whenhe asks for a kiss.
and how his parents are both dead when my moms are both alive
so it makes me wonder. does he every not feel loved?
would he want to commit suicide?

I can figure how many gallons and the cost, between the averages: old - 28.5 mpg, new car 26 mpg. But as a sort of cross reference, if I round up to 3 mpg as the difference, then
