I have before and it was so different than it was the first time. I guess we had basically grown up and matured, when we had dated before we were all for the spontaneity of just hopping in the car and going to Florida or just wherever if we wanted to, but then you grow up basically and have responsibilities that put you in the position where you can't do that anymore because you have the kids, work, house, bills just everything. I I think that's why God give us our youth when he does, when we can go out and have fun with no strings attached no kids or staff meetings to attend, just life and freedom and fun. But when we are born, we didn't come with a handbook and God, I guess he thought we could figure this one out on our own anyway, the moral is the youth is wasted on the young. I know the older I get, the smarter my mother gets.

A high school bf contacted be about 2 months ago after five years of no contact what so ever. We talk (usually) about once a day. The longest we've gone so far without talking in some form (myspace, text, calling) is about four days. We live in different states now. We both really want to see the other but our work schedules and distance haven't made that possible yet.

I dated this guy for a while, but we had an awkward breakup. My family ended up moving away a year later. About 4 years later, i was visiting my old city, and a mutual friend was planning a small "welcome home" get together. The friend planning it asked me if i wanted to invite my old boyfriend, and i said yeah. The friend then told me that the old boyfriend said he thought it would be REALLY awkward and not a good idea.
I don't know.
It really depends on how you broke up, i guess.

It was wonderful! He is the love of my life, and the chemistry is still there. I had hoped we'd get back together, but he's at a place in his life right now where he doesn't want to be with anyone. I still hope, when the time is right, just maybe. The times we've spent together are wonderful, though.

Dated a guy in high school, then we hooked up again when I was 23, didn't work. Then we met again when I was 30, and it didn't work.
Each stage in my life I was looking for something different, and he just never fit the bill.

he was the one looking for me after 3yrs.. when we finally met up, his style was soo ghetto, had gold grills, tatoos. he had went to jail and spent 6mos, had 2 kids with 2 baby mama's.. started school, got kicked out. that made me close that book i kinda kept open.. i got over him so fast as he told me those stories. i still asked to hang out to talk about the past and the present..and he agreed but never got back to me several times so i let it go..and it feels great. im not wondering what he is up to, how is life going for him, and wondering if he still thinks about me..awesome!

Yes, but we had changed so much that it was kind of weird and strange and I felt very awkward and I believe he did, too. Some things are better off left alone!!!

Yeah but I am married so we just remained friends. I wouldn't have gotten back with him anyway because we broke up for a reason.
