BELFAST (AFP) - Northern Ireland's only salmon farm was completely wiped out by a freak jellyfish attack, the owners said Wednesday.

More than 100,000 fish worth more than one million pounds (2.1 million dollars, 1.4 million euros) were killed in the invasion at Glenarm Bay and Red Bay, on the County Antrim north-east coast.

We are still assessing the full extent, but it's a disaster," said John Russell, managing director of Northern Salmon Co. Ltd.

"In 30 years, I've never seen anything like it. It was unprecedented, absolutely amazing. The sea was red with these jellyfish and there was nothing we could do about it, absolutely nothing.

"I have never experienced such concentrations of jellyfish spread over such a wide area. The vastness was unbelievable."

The seven-hour attack over Tuesday and Wednesday last week saw the jellyfish covering a sea area of up to 10 square miles (26

Mohammad Mosaddeq was elected Prime Minister of Iran in 1951. Unfortunately, he believed that the Iranian oil fields belonged to the Iranian people. Big Oil didn't like that and pushed the CIA into overthrowing the PM and putting the Shah back in power. It was called "Operation Ajax".

Was it worth it?

Or is this yet another example of blow back? Putting the corrupt ruthless Shah back in power led to left-wing socialists and right-wing fundies in Iran to get pissed off, eventually leading to the Iranian fundie revolution.

A woman takes a lover home during the day while her husband is at work.
Her 9 year old son comes home unexpectedly, sees them and hides in the
bedroom closet to watch. The woman's husband also comes home. She puts
her Lover in the closet, not realizing that the little boy is in there
already. The little boy says, "Dark in here." The man says, "Yes, it
is." Boy - "I have a baseball." Man - "That's nice." Boy - "Want to buy
it?" Man - "No, thanks." Boy - "My dad's outside." Man - "OK, how much?"
Boy - "$250"

In the next few weeks, it happens again that the boy and the lover are in
the closet together. Boy - "Dark in here." Man - "Yes, it is." Boy - "I
have a baseball glove." The lover, remembering the last time, asks the boy,
"How much?" Boy - "$750" Man - "Sold."

A few days later, the father says to the boy, "Grab your glove, let's go
outside and have a game of catch. The boy says, "I can't, I sold my
baseball and my glove." The father asks, "How much did you sell them for?"
Boy -"$1,000" The father says, "That's terrible to overcharge your friends
like that. That is way more than those two things cost. I'm going to take
you to church and make you confess." They go to the church and the father
makes the little boy sit in the confession booth and he closes the door.
The boy says, "Dark in here." The priest says, "Don't start that ****
again, you're in my closet now."

Hi all! I got my positive pregnancy test this morning and my period isn't even officially late yet!

My question is: if you get a super dark positive on your pregnancy test before you are even late for your period, does that mean you have a good chance of having twins?

I am kinda worried because I am 13 days past ovulation today and my test I took this morning was after I had already peed 3 times and drank a whole bunch so my pee was probably pretty diluted and the positive line was still super super dark!

I am a very small girl and I don't think my body can handle twins, so I'm hoping this isn't a sign....

Thanks!

I own a 6 month old Sony Bravia HDTV with built-in tuner. I have read several similar question/anwers and can't seem to get a proper hold on this subject. I too have had salesman try to sell me "S" video cables/audio cables/HD rabbit ears/etc with nothing helping. They basically tell me to contact rabbit ears up to satelite box and I'm good to go (does not work). Should I be able to view "available in HD" shows with these magic ears? Do I need to change to a certain channel? According to antennaweb.org I live no more than 20 miles from the most distant tower and I have flat terrain around my home in West Texas. How do I get the local ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX chennels in HD? Please provide specific details.

Where in the name does it say anything about a god?

Do they think Atheists have nothing to be thankful for? Or that we have no right to be thankful because we're not thanking some god? Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against people who pray to their gods on Thanksgiving, etc., but just because I'm not religious doesn't mean I think I'm "promised" everything I have. Thoughts?
