I have an Acer Aspire 3100+ with Windows Xp and Service Pack 2. For some reason, it doesn't detect any wireless networks out there. It has a built in wireless card which is a "Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter" it shows the device is working properly. I have two other computers : a desktop and a wireless Dell that are connected to the internet. The desktop is wired on it. I'm using a U.S Robotics USR5461 wireless router with AT&T DSL connection. I have searched everywhere to see how to get this laptop connected wirelessly but still nothing worked. One thing though: I went to the Services option in Adminstrative Tools (Control Panel) to Enable the "Windows Zero Configuration Utility". It showed that it was already 'Automatic' and 'Started'. This is supposed to make a "Windows Zero Configuration Utility" icon when I go to Control Panel. But there is no such icon there. I know there its supposed to be because I saw it my Dell laptop. My router has also set all wireless devices to connect

Looking for sassafras, but heard sassafras is prohibited in the United States?

When I was younger we would have sassfras tea made from, I believe the bark. Recently I have been looking for sassafras or even sassfras tea bags but have had not luck in the stores. Googling sassfras online I came across that it is prohibited by law in the US and Canada.
So maybe this would be the reason I can't find it in stores? Does anyone know if this includes tea bags too, and if not where I could find it.
It sounds as though I should probably stay away from sassafras, so any comments on the consumption of it would be appriciated. thanks

Do you think using a rhyming dictionary is cheating (for poetry)?

I feel guilty using rhyming dictionaries when I write poetry. But sometimes I honestly can't think of a rhyme. Do you think it's cheating? I just feel bad about it.

Why am I "leaking" urine all the time or is it sweat?

Ever since my last period I am having an excess of urine in my panties sometimes with a little discharge. I am not having any pain when peeing or cramps. I have checked to see if my bladder has dropped but nothing is hanging. I don't pee when I laugh or sneeze. I am not having any kidney pains....... I had my colon removed two and a half years ago... I know there is a chance of pelvic colapse but I am not seeing anything that might indecate that... any ideas?

I am gathering information, in an effort to persuade a friend, who lives in Toronto, to try her hand at modeling. She is a beautiful, petite, well proportioned young woman, with long blond hair, and blue-gray eyes, 5' 4" tall, weighing 105 pounds. She thinks, she is not tall enough to be a model.

Is it OK to switch tables at a restaurant/bar midway through the event?

I have a group of friends from work. All of us go to Hooters when the UFC fights are on and eat and drink and have a good time. This month, I invited my boyfriend as well.

My boyfriend does not care for the fights at all. He is coming only because he had to work late Friday night, so this is the only time he could be with me this weekend.

He is nervous about being around my buddies for several reasons, so I thought maybe he and I would get our own table. Some people in our crowd do this, and no one has a problem with it.

But he will be coming straight from work and will be late -- almost halfway through.

So do I have to sit by myself for the first half until he joins me, or can I sit with the group and then get a table with my boyfriend when he arrives?

The second choice seems reasonable, but I'm afraid that, when he arrives and I leave the table, someone will ask why the boyfriend doesn't just join the group, and it'll be awkward. I don't want to offend anyone.

My wife insists that our daughter wear pantyhose to a wedding,daughter doesn't want to,is mom being unfair?

Our daughter is a brides maid,all of the other girls are wearing pantyhose,but our daughter says they are not part of her style and is asking me to speak to mom on her behalf. Personally, I don't see the big deal,but I am not a seventeen year old girl, any advice?

How do you handle someone that just talks about how terrible their life is?

When it's really not example;

Complains about how mother is charging her rent. She's 39 living with her mother!

my response,"I don't have advise, I've been paying rent since I was 18"

is there a nicer way to deal with these people??

I ask,"How are you doing?" in the morning and I (regret asking) get,"Oh terrible!!"

I think, WE all have problems..and we should just look at the positives and stop making everything negative..
I'd hate to be rude and say,"you know I have problems too but I don't bring them to work!"
She grew up in a nice neighborhood..
When she's in a bad mood she'll ignore you like it's your fault I honestly tried to be friendly but hey I'm getting ready to tell her off!! What is the proper way to deal with this?

After surgery for Testicular cancer?

After having the testicle removed (thats all they told me), shouldn't normal ejaculation return? I do not recall them saying other wise, it was stage one. And that ability has not returned. And the sex drive has really gone down, (no desire for it or solo sex).
Is this normal?

2008 Nissan Rouge or 2008 Honda Civic CRV? Your thoughts?

The Rogue has 170hp. The Civic has 166hp. HP is a no brainer. Rogue wins hands down. But the Rogue is a brand new model. Looks like a scaled down version of the Murano. The Honda Civic has proven itself track record wise. Fully loaded Rouge is about $22,000. Fully loaded CRV depending on the model type EX, DX blah-blah can range from $22,000 $23,000, up to $30,000. Your thoughts?

Does it really make you feel good when....?

you realize you've actually helped someone on here and made a difference in their lives?

This has just happened to me and I've come to appreciate the purpose of being here.

It's not all about being a ham or a funny man like I initially thought.

I've come to truly appreciate a few on here for more than just being my own personal fan club (like a few others on here do, not naming names)

When you can actually realize you've made a difference in someone elses life...

Well...that is a good thing!
