I need to renew passport issued 11 years ago - expired last year. Last time, there were designated photography shops that offerred packages; first 2 required for passport at certain fixed charge, additional copies (needed for visas for some countries) at certain incremental rates. The photo technology has advanced since then. So have the charges. My inquiry for rates at some of the places resulted in quotes between $8 -$12 per first set (2 copies), additional copies at the same rate.
---The state dept. is very much justified for the stringent rules.
---The post office is justified charging higher rate for pictures -they are doing a great favor to the applicant who did not bring along the required pictures.
The open competition between closely located neighborhood stores should drive the prices down in favor of consumers - unless this is a price fixing between so called competitors. This is late for me but - Any alternatives to this HIGHWAY ROBBERY?

Nothing too fancy or pretentious, just a good place to eat and drink. Maybe near some cool bars?

i've only played it once, we played it in daylight with about 8 other people there, and one girl asked it a simple question like "what is my name?" and the table started shaking. it was a huge dining room oak table and EVERYONE stepped away from the table but it kept shaking. creepy. and it was definitly noticable and no one was near the table.

then my mom told me a story that when she was playing ouija with her friends in their basement, they saw a shadow of a man in the corner of the room, and they were home alone! she never played it again.

what about you? do you have any stories?

I usually only go overdraft by very little amounts (always under £10), but Lloyds still charges £30 per day. The total I have now been charged for this has reached quite a large number now and I heard that there is a way to get it all back. I have read what Lloyd's says here about the 'test case':
http://www.lloydstsb.com/ways_to_bank_with_us/answers_bank_charges.asp
but is there anything I can do right now.

Can somebody please give some advise... I'm only 17, so it would really be nice if I could get my money back...

What would be the worst name to give to your child?

A friend of mine just has an Asian baby boy. I suggested naming him "Latoya", with the middle name "Jackson".

What other terrible names are there to give to your child (Male, Female, Based on Ethnicity, etc.)?

Imagine Latoya going through school with that name. That would be hilarious and very unethical.

A friend of mine has huntingtons disiese, her husband went to go get her a perscription called seroquel. When he got there the pharmisist said he could no longer get the amount perscribed, because the insurance company would not cover it. They already pay 50 for each perscription, my friend takes 16 differant pills, just so she can manage. And even then her life is so troubled. Everyday things such as a shower bring her to tears, and seroquel helps relaxe her. Now they want them to pay another $50 so they can take one pill and split is up.

So he called the insurance company and they told him it was NOT them but the government who has stopped this. Seroquel is a controlled substance and the government is cracking down on how much is giving out, so to control it they are making people who don't have much money pay another co-pay to hinder them from selling it on the street.

Here's a thought if someone was selling drugs on the street they would have the freaking money to pay
