there isn't tons of cheap flights out there for hawaii anymore. actually, there isn't a lot of flights left... cheap or not! my husband and i originally wanted to travel on the 22nd to go to hawaii... but since there isn't anything under $1700 (per ticket) then (this was 3 weeks ago), we had to change dates and travel on the 21st... we were able to get the last seats of that specific flight for about $900.

try alaska air and northwest to see whether you still have some options. hawaiian air is too expensive. my husband and i bought our tickets at travelocity.com which shows all the options from all ailines.

Alaska Airlines just started going from Seattle to Honolulu. Try there. It's a very bad time to be flying to Honolulu fare-wise, so be prepared to pay more--no way around it.

You're not going to find a flight that close to Christmas that will run you anywhere close to being reasonable. Fares around the holidays will run you at least $800 even if you get it well in advance.

Good luck!

It's going to be extremely difficult to find cheap flights during the holiday season & on such short notice. Good Luck

Check cheaptickets.com, it helps! And of course, there aren't many cheap flights left for Hawaii; everybody wants to go there! lol, hope you get her home in time.

attempt the lower price web pages (Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Hotwire, and so on.) also, you will get a million or 2% money again through having access to them via a free rebates internet website. relish your holiday!!
