My uncle is getting married at the age of 43 to a 48 year old woman whom I've never met. I have seen my uncle exactly once in the past six years. I have a lovely silver frame I am giving them but I thought about giving a basket of all natural biodegradable wonderful smelling home products. Air freshener, a plug in freshener, wipes, hand soaps, all-purpose cleaner etc. Personally this would be a gift that I would LOVE to receive. But I didn't know if it would be bad taste or not. Any thoughts?

I bought it from Verizon, thinking it'd be neat to get online. After 6 months, I found that, for me, (1) $45 a month is a lot to pay for internet phone service! and (2) I'd rather have a plain ol' phone keypad than a QWERTY keypad for a phone...

So, here I am, with a little-used expensive Samsung SCHi730, runs Windows, and all that. I'm not asking to sell it, just asking: should I trash it?

had to withdrawl with a 4.0 and I know I can't go back to that school but wonder if I have been blacklisted against other schools and hospitals. I don't think I will feel satified until I do it and have been depressed since I didn't make it through. I also thought about doing cna or lpn first any ideas.

First, I believe in God and science. If someone wanted you to join a club and the first thing they taught you was that they were right and everyone else was wrong and going to hell, or should be killed, you would run the other way. Yet the major world religions say just this! They also rabidly attack science every time science disproves something in their holy books, like the earth is 6,000years old, anyone with a brain knows its older. Worse, they rabidly attack eachother for being exactly the same! Muslim "I am right and you are an infidel.": Christian, "No, I am right and if you don't believe me you will not be saved from hell" Both: "The other is immoral and wrong!" It has been proven that men have altered the bible many times in history, also. Rather than have faith and realize that maybe God is allowing some of his works to be revealed to us through science, as in evolution, the amazing process of bringing varied life from nothing, they want to discredit it.

I had a vehicle leased for 36 months. After the first year, I was behind by 3 months and voluntarily surrendered the vehicle so it would not be repossessed. Now, I've gotten a bill saying that I owe not only the back payments and an early termination fee, but also the amount of the rest of the lease. Am I really responsible to pay the rest of the lease on a car I've already surrendered? I thought that was the purpose of the early termination fee. Please help me out.

sexual activity whatsoever, would you leave them or support them?

I ask this because I received four thumbs down for answering "How important is sex in a relationship?" with "I believe that if you truly love someone that you can spend your entire life with them without touching them at all."

What is your opinion?

YES it is, abolustely!!!!!!!!!!

The Bill of Rights (being part of the consitution) are very clear that you cannot infringe on people's rights.

You cannot make someone incriminate themselves. You cannot deny someone a fair trial, you cannot invade a persons privacy.

Habeas Corpus is the ability to defend yourself against incrimination but even that is denied.

People might say that these things can only happen to "enemy combatants", but in the law "enemy combatant" is defined very very vaguely. Including radicals.

A real american doesn't vote for a law just because "patriot" is in the name nor should they obey that law. A real american speaks out against oppression. Thomas Jefferson called dissent the highest form of patriotism.

VOTE RON PAUL

What do you think? Because I always attached the term to a sound, a general rock 'n' roll that didn't vary too far from the standard rock template (guitars, drums, vocals, bass, occasional keyboard, sitar or horns, synthesizer is pushing it). The next for me would be a time period because most of the bands called classic started in the late 60's and got poular in the early 70's, or started based on influence from those bands and got popular in the late 70's or early 80's.

But appears that classic rock is just anything popular that fits underneath the infinitely broad term "rock" and is in a broad time period ranging from the 60's to the 80's. I mean how else could Rush, Led Zeppelin, Bowie, Steppenwolf, the Kinks, the Who, and Lynyrd Skynyrd all be shoved into one subgenre? Plus, here's a list of bands with the straight forward rock sound from the time period that aren't considered classic:
T.Rex, the Stooges, Sonics, Easybeats, the MC5, Pretty Things, Paul Rever & The Raiders.
