i made an account with my moms credit card but she doesn't want me to charge anything on it, so i redeemed an itunes gift card i got for my bday. i entered the code on the back and now it's telling me that i'm about to "credit" my moms account. does that mean that she'll get charged or will it deduct it from my gift card--charging nothing from my mom?

I realize how weird and creepy this will sound and thats why I'm using this account instead of my real one. I'm a regular here in R&S and lately I've been having dreams about another regular which is something I can't really control but then I started daydreaming about this person too and that is intentional.

Maybe I spend too much time here I don't know. But I do think the world of this person and we have conversed through email outside of R&S and I dont want her to know I'm thinking like this because it might scare her off but I can't get her out of my head!

Has anything like this ever happened to you?

My husband and I have been together since 1989. We have two children and are have been separated since 2001. We still have a very active sex life but he has a girlfriend that he lives with now. I love him very much, so much until I know that I must let go but somehow I just don't have the energy to do so. Am I wrong for still loving and sleeping with him? He send me mixed signals he's has always been there for me but when he is with his girlfriend he acts as if I don't exsist. He lies to his girlfriend and tells her that he don't talk to me when he know every free moment he has from her is spent with me. I'm confussed please help me to decided what I need to do to remedy this situation.

I know there are atheists, but this is how I see the question:
It would seem that animals are the only ones without any sense of the transcendant.

People get passionate over art, politics, economic models, philosophical ideas, we hold beliefs for the future and we get impassioned with ideas and we seem to have a very deep need to have a sense of purpose in our lives which transcends rationality. Whether or not we express this purpose in metaphysical terms or not, it would seem to me that a person without any sense of meaning beyond the material world would be a brute.

So is it possible? Can one truly be without religion?
