Did they write out the reminding balance. I heard this could be done and if they try to continue to collect from you , you can take them to court.

as some of you might have watched the video on yahoo's current feature video, how do you feel about the school giving detention to a 13 year old girl for hugging her friends in a way of good bye?

this is what i personally think..
i think that its the administrators or vice principals that happens to be jerks or over using their authority on doing what they feel comfortable doing. of course, this is ridicoulous. i think the girl should call up a bunch of people (friends and families) and hug each other in front of the school. im assuming this will become a bigger issue later on and the super attendant of the district will eventually have to apoligize to the public and explain.

I know it sounds odd, but my parents did 'do a number on me.' I am the first to say it too.
My parents first off, are well to do and did not provide me with a car, tuition or anything. My father had some inappropriate conversations w/me, and my mother is/was controlling..
So...
Now, 21, married for a year.. my husband tells me that if i speak with my parents he'll leave me.
(By the way, he is overall really sweet and we get along really well). Any remarks?

In the Old testament, it says that If anyone do homosexualy; than they must be stoned to death. It also said the same thing to disobeyed kids, and your family if they try to get you to believe in false idols. I am no fan of stoning people to death, but why people are not doing it anymore?

I was so angry at her, that I hit the screen with my fists...I am crying now, because I have so much to do, including homeowrk, and I wrecked the screen...I am on a different computer now, but she's going to find out out next time she uses it (which will be tomorrow, I am sure). i have a sandwich here. and im muslim and i don't eat pork. i was wondering if the meat in it is ham or turkey, for those of you who eat both. it tastes smokey, so it could be smoked ham or turkey. oscar meyer, perhaps? its very slightly pink...not as pink as ham usually is. but i've seen very light colored ham before. lol. so...any differences in the grain of meat or something?
