No, but i know lots of people who have, and people have done it to me, through txt is worse!!! don't ever do it, it's rude, and mean, and it hurts worse than face to face, even though face to face break up is hard it feels better to hear it like that than over the phone or in txt message!!!

yes i actually broke up with this jerk iver the phone because he was out of town and i caught him cheating on me!! listen guys, cheating is not the way to go, just break up with the girl! and i also broke up with my friend's boyfriend over the phone for her because she was scared to do it..lol it was quite dramatic..he was really upset and i had no clue what to say

Yep... jerk named Vinnie. Wasted 10 years on the idiot. The last straw was when he stood me up for a date to go out on my birthday... then 2 weeks later he called me to "chat"... I asked him if he had forgotten anything... he said, "no, what?"... I told him... he denied ever having made such a date, and besides, he was busy that day.... I said, "yeah, I've heard that one before!"... click!
