With genetic disorders and diseases ever increasing---from 1400 to 12,000 in the 33 years from 1966 to 1999 and projected to increase further, are we doomed to extinction by the end of this century as some researchers have stated?
Quote "By 2031, it is estimated (R2 = 0.995) there will be 100,000 human genetic disorders and by 2096 1,000,000 (see Figure 3). “At least one clinical disorder has been related to 1,318 of the mapped loci (roughly 30%)” (McKusick, 1998, Vol. 1, xiii - xviii). That suggests genetic disorder saturation of each locus by 2031 and supersaturation by 2096. These data confirm human devolution and suggest imminent permanent genetic extinction in this century."

Why does your body need 1 pint of reproduced blood per day? What happens to the blood when your body "uses"it up?

2-year relationship (completely devoted, shared friends, all free time). He call/emails everyday ending note saying that he loves me. Family likes me, and his sister invited me to her wedding.

So… He dumped me suddenly without giving me a reason. He also said I’m his best friend, he’s attracted to me, thinks I am a very good person and hates to see terrible things happen to me. He said he was unsure and needed time. Later at a party he said that he did not love me in a callous, drunken way. He apologized the next day (saying could not remember), but w/o taking it back. 2 weeks passed, I’ve e taken my things from his place (he was not there) and tried to get on with my life.

I feel he still loves me and just got cold feet (his buddy said he’s miserable and uncertain). He’s not good at expressing himself. I’m afraid if I contact him he will push me away and that he will only realize his mistake if I move on. Yet, I am also afraid that if I don’t I will lose the chance! help

Is there a law about not having to tell someone other than a supervisor or HR rep that I will be out of work and the reason?
Do I have to tell someone who is just one a "help desk" that I cant come in?
Thier Job is to answer a question like can we do this for a customer and what does this mean on a bill. What gives them the right to know what I am doing away from work?
If there is some Kind of law can you please help me?

I have to make a children's book as an assignment for school, and I want to know if what the story is based on was already taken.
What the story is about is:
An 8 year old girl steals money from her mom's wallet to buy her favorite skirt. She has nightmares that night and feels guilt inside, and decides to tell her mother. She finally confesses and her mother just gives her chores to do because of it. Helen isn't disappointed, she is full of relief from telling the truth.
I appreciate all that read this and answer this.
