I follow my religion because God wants me to follow it. I was born and raised up in Hindu family. The original name of Hindu religion is Sanatan Dharma which is also known as Vedic Sanatan. God has given me my religion as he has given me air to breath, water to drink, food to eat e.t.c. If he wanted me to be a Christian or Muslim or any other, he would have given me birth in those religious family.
And more to this I have studied my Scriptures very deeply and I understand it's philosophy and I have accept is as the highest knowledge of the mankind. I have not only studied Vedic Scriptures but also Bible, Koran, Tripitaka and others as well. I do respect to all religion but follow what I find ( not with emotion but with knowledge) is the best.
Edit: Wahid has mentioned in his answer "Hinduism is not the name of a religion. It is a name given by Muslims for those who live on the Indus valley." Yes, it is true that Hindu is not the name of the religion because that name is not mentioned in any Vedic Scripture. Muslims gave that name to the people who lives in Indus valley following Vedic Scripture not to all of the people. Later, many muslim emperors ruled in India but they were not called Hindus. They were still Muslims eventhough they live and ruled in India. Not eveyone becomes Hindu just by living in Indus valley or Bharat Barsa. Sanatan Dhaarma or Hinduism is not only limited in one branch or sect. It has got thousands and thousands of ways for the enlightment and to attain the devotion. And it is the oldest religion in the world. According to the Scriptures, there are maninly there groups in Hinduism: Saiva, Shakta and Vaishnav (Vaishnavism ).

Religion is a set of rules, regulations and orders to be obeyed so that human society becomes more civilized, more cultured and peaceful. God fixed only one religion for human. He sent many prophets to human to teach that religion. All prophets followed and taught human the same religion.
Christianity is not the name of a religion. It indicates the relgion followed by the followers of Christ. Buddhaism is not the name of a religion. It indicates the religion followed by the followers of Buddha. Hinduism is not the name of a religion. It is a name given by Muslims for those who live on the Indus valley. I think you know it very well, Krishna.
God fixed only one religion for human. That religion is eternal or sanatan for the mankind.
But it is sad for humanity that, some greedy and egoistic people corrupted that sanatan religion. Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists etc. are following those corrupted, impure versions of sanatan religion fixed by God for human.
Modern, intelligent people should now purify the human religion for the sake of humanity. You, Krishna, also can not avoid your duty in this respect. May God help you.

I am Agnostic, because I don't put stock in blind faith. However, if the Christians or Muslims or Buddhists or Hindi or anyone else for that matter could show me something that would validate the claims of their religion (other than books written by man...specifically you, Fundamentalist Christians. Your Bible is a book that's been translated to the point of not containing anything that was in the original copy. Not proof.) then I would happily follow that path, but I will not do so blindly and stupidly. I am a thinking human being, not cattle.

I feel you cannot blindly accept everyhting that comes to you. One must raise questions about his/her religion. When a person asks you why you follow a particular religion or why you believe something, if you say "because my parents do", then whats the difference betwen you and an animal?? Are you a unique individual by yourself, or are you leading your parents lives??
Definitely, God has given us the ability to reason for a good cause. If you are not satisfied with the answers you get from your parents, and scholars, then do some research with other religious scriptures. (have an open mind, dont be biased)
God is One.

I agree with Taoism in all of it's teachings. I choose to follow the path of Taoism, because I was naturally following it in the first place. This way, if someone asks what my religion is, I can tell them I am a Taoist, so if they know what Taoism is, they will know my overall belief structure.
