This was very shortly after Iran's Ayatollah Khomeini declared he would march his extremist forces across the Middle East, declared Israel to be "Little Satan" and the US to be the "Big Satan".

Many women hesitate to call themselves 'feminist". This seems peculiar - or perhaps just misinformed - to feminists who insist that feminism is just about equality between the sexes.

Of course, the vast majority of women (at least in modern, Western, liberal democracies) whether or not they call themselves "feminist", want:
Equal right to participate in the political process and equal recognition of all civil liberties, such as freedom of speech,
Equal right to control their finances, to own property,
Equal opportunity in education and employment,
Equal access to housing and healthcare,
Equal protection from physical harm,

Basically equality in all the goods of civic life that make it possible to pursue their own idea of the good life in a diverse society.

Is it that so many feminists want their idea of "equality" imposed on every aspect of culture and society?

On language and custom, on religion and tradition, on , courtship, marriage, parenthood, family and relationships, on...

Since approx 1 year ago my 3 year old desktop computer has been very slow and seems to be overworking (tremendously). I have ran virus software, disk cleanup, defragmenter and everything I know to do but it doesn't help. It also has a lot of disk space available so it can't be the memory. What can be the problem?

I'm getting remarried next week and my gf is very excited about being a stepmom to my 8 yr old son. The problem is my exwife who is possessive of our son and very jealous of my gf.She has already been a problem with my gf's involment with our son and its only going to get worse once we get married. I have joint custody with my exwife and see my son every other day and have to deal with my ex often. I really want to take the high road with my ex(for my sons sake) so whats the best way to handle my gf becoming my son's new stepmom without making waves with my exwife? Divorced moms what would piss u off if your ex got remarried?

I ate a lot in the first trimester because I had no morning sickness and that is when I gained most of my weight so far. In the second trimester I only gained about 5lbs. I am now 29 weeks and I am just not hungry anymore. What the deal? It's been going on for a bout since I was 24 weeks, but my appetite just slowed wayyy down. I thought it was supposed to speed up in the ending trimester? It looks like I just did the opposite.

No real question. I would just like some insight. Thanks.

I'm16 and about to start taking Zoloft (25 mg for 3 days then up it to 50 mg) for major depressive disorder and generalized anxiety disorder. Would it be alright to take Flintstone's Complete Vitamins also?? Do you think it would interfere with the Zoloft?? Any help would be appreciated!
